I am curious, why do people not like Warding? To me it is one of the most preferred out of the ordinary suffixes. I like it even better than Protection in many cases (or to mix with Protection).

At least from the beginning of the game until my current level, magical monsters are the most dangerous as they do the biggest damage with their MP/SP moves.

Sound like you are one-hand fighting style, did you use any buff that you can use?
I died few times when i use Protection + Haste + Shadow Veil + Absorb + Spark of Life + Spirit Shield,
magic damage can be absorb, i think that is not so dangerous.

Now i am at level 370, I just use Protection + Spark of Life + Spirit Shield in battle,
and i also died few times

I only just started to use 1H and plate armor for a couple weeks. Before, I used mostly DW and some 2H, and I used both leather and cotton armor.

I don't have any auto-cast ability, but I use almost all buffs available, since the beginning of the game. (I still need Haste and Shadow Veil to survive high arena PFUDOR). I agree with you, Absorb is the main reason to not fear magic. Absorb is one of my favorite spells since the beginning of the game. But sometimes many magical enemies can make the Absorb be wasted on MP attacks, then when SP attacks come it could be the end.
