And now I wonder...what determines how much damage the bleed effect does? I picked up a relatively cheap weapon to test the effect on it, but they would only bleed for ~24-30 or so damage, which doesn't really seem like a lot considering what the armor piercing proc can do to the mobs, especially bosses like manthra. I understand that with armor piercing you actually have to hit them with subsequent attacks for the extra damage to come into play, while with bleed you don't, but that's why it would be good to know what determines what in terms of proc effects and damage. Oh, and screw anyone that complains about Ten's "long posts," if they don't wanna read patch notes they can blow it out their asses for all I care >_> EditL Forgot to add in a thanks for adding the evasion, burden. etc. to statistics. Now even with that small graphical bug that was mentioned earlier I can see my real stats (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) This post has been edited by Dndestroy: Aug 23 2009, 02:28

This probably isnt much of a problem to most people, but on smaller resolution screens (netbooks) the equipment details pop-up in the shop can go off the bottom of the screen and hide some of the stats

Yes, I can't change difficulty because the accept changes button is hidden down the bottom now. It won't scroll low enough. -Selecting difficulty and hitting enter will do it....but checking the lower items at bazaar is still messed up. This post has been edited by tenkicks: Aug 23 2009, 02:57

i use google chrome, and it lets me scroll for that, but scrolling doesnt help the equips thing because the pop-up stays in the same spot

I have to agree with those folks who commented about this before me, Tenboro, but I too have to ask if, at some point in the near future, a Weapons/Armors Comparison Chart of some sort could be fabricated, whereby Armor in your inventory and/or on your person (hopefully doing it either way wouldn't be too difficult) has a little up or down Arrow or something like that comparing Stat to Stat (so, say, when you pass your cursor over the Gold-Pressed Latinum Sword of God slaying in the Bazaar, a series of Green Up Arrows/Red Down Arrows/??-colored Sideways neutral Arrows show when compared your equipped Crude Cardboard Sword of Shame).
It's somewhat of a pain to open up two windows -one for what you've got, and one for what you want -and look at the tiny print and then switch back and forth. Not trying to sound ungrateful for what you've done so far, just pointing out a desire that is no doubt shared by other folks here.
Thanks for 'listening.'

QUOTE(Lunatic2 @ Aug 22 2009, 18:22) By loot, does this apply for any item? Potions and scrolls as well?
loot is any non-equipment that can be gotten from killing mobs

well I have a mouse with a wheel/button and find that in the case of the equipment, I first press the wheel/button and then move the mouse to the direction I want to go, generally to the space bellow the list where there isn't anything more and with that it moves the view, so that I can see all the characteristics of the last equip. It works with the difficulty and settings screen too. hope it helps. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This post has been edited by kit-kat: Aug 23 2009, 04:28

I don't know if this will help but, with my browser (firefox) the HVerse page always opens a hair under maximum, and I can't see the accept changes button unless I hit the maximize page button. You could always use ctrl- to shrink everything on the page (I just tried it and it works). (ctrl0 resets it)

To my knowledge (after quite a few years as a FF user, and Linux programmer) there is only the global setting. Sorry.

If you haven't installed the HentaiVerse font, it'll use your browser's default/global font.
@dndestroy: If you've installed the HV font and that's what it looks like on your browser...try uninstalling the font. That doesn't look playable at all

That was the point (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) It's the [ www.uesp.net] Daedric font from Oblivion, though there's nothing in the font regarding numbers. The problem when I turn off the normal font and activate it for use with other fonts is that it stays in a constant state of it italics.

QUOTE(Tenseigamoon @ Aug 22 2009, 14:50) Or just put it back the way it was. Yikes.
Actually the only real thing that bothers me is that we can't go back to the arena through the pop up! We have to click again on arena which was neatly done before by clicking on "Arena Cleared". It's not really that big a deal but I can't return to the arena if I'm viewing stuff totally at the bottom, due to my lower resolution of 1280x800 on a 15,4 screen. Also on another note, the multiplier from the difficulty setting doesn't influence the credit gains right?

It does, but not at the same rate as the exp ains from my experience. It would be silly to get the same amount of creds for weaker monsters after all.

Though for the effort the scaling is not that balanced, a level 24,28 Baby Steps arena fight gave me 235 credits on Hell(3x). Where as it would give about 230 at Heroic(2x).. This post has been edited by Ido013: Aug 23 2009, 08:20

and where did you find this info? cause as far as i can tell scavenger does not effect equipment drops also since from my experiance scavenger actually adds to the drop rate of loot instead of multiplying into the drop rate like quartermaster does for equipment i doubt that equipment is treated as loot in game terms. i have seen a noticeable increase of loot drops from only 7 points of scavenger much more than just 107% of the base drop chance and because of this i believe that scavenger does not apply to equipment which would mean that equipment are not counted as loot by the game

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Aug 10 2009, 18:13) Okaaay.. first there is a roll to see if you get anything at all. This is always true for arenas. For monsters it's around 10% for most, but this increases by a certain factor for boss monsters and legendaries, depending on their stats. Then there's a roll to determine if you get an item or a piece of equipment. The vast majority of the time this will land on an item, again unless there is a boss monster or higher involved. Then there is a third roll to determine what type of item you get, namely if it's a consumable or an artifact. Again the odds are heavily in favor of a consumable. At this point, a final two rolls are made, one for the type of consumable and one for the quality of the item. There's about a 90% chance to get a restorative of some kind (60% health, 25% mana, 5% spirit). It then looks up the item in a quality table to determine if it's a crude, lesser, average etc item, by using the quality roll combined with a quality bonus determined from the round counter, the difficulty level, the monster stats, monster hp bonus and monster spirit power. Then it returns a final array of items that can be picked, and in the case of restoratives, it's 50/50 between a draught and a potion, unless you land on elixir quality which is just one possibility.
And I'm going to gloss right over the possibility of getting an elixir through the 0.2% "special drop" code path.
So you tell me.
