Needed a palette cleanser so I did an edgy thing

Between working on my own lewds, a couple of requested lewds, and studying other people’s lewds, I needed a palette cleanser. So I pulled this cat-lady out from my sketch folder and gave her the “comic book anti-hero” treatment. I’m still thinking of a name for her (though right now I just call her “Jane”) and I want to make her into a recurring character, but I can’t bring myself to draw lewds of her. So that limits what I can include her in while still keeping my content consistent.

Also, on the list of "artwork I'd send back in time to my younger self", this would be my first choice. Seriously, I used to dream of making pieces like this with extreme angles, moody lighting, dark tones, and ambiguous context. I was a real moody fucker, still kind of am if I'm being honest. Can't say I dreamt of drawing furries though, that was a recent development for sure.

Kind of? I was looking to get some wallpaper sized furry pieces done but lacking original characters, I took heavy inspiration for like Green, (Legend of Mana's) Sierra, and a few from the artist, 68.

For half of New Year's Eve and half of New Year's Day there is a party happening every hour on the hour. My party doesn't starty for another 14 hours, but I'm already feeling the hype!

2018 Year in Review!

You know, the craziest part is that you're not even seeing HALF the progress I made with this. Most of the changes happened behind the scenes with how I organize and use layers, tweaked my brushes, and altered canvas sizes and resolutions. Resizing and adjusting all these old pieces really made me realize how haphazard my old workflows were and that I'm approaching some semblance of stability with how I work on things now. Such a shame I'm still extremely slow to finish anything...

And yes, I know, my name is spelled wrong, but this is the third time I've tried to fix it and it's still wrong. I'm not stopping until it's fixed though.
