Personally, I say chunk it into a corner instead of trashing it, whether its in the history or a hidden page. Its not like we're running out of storage or anything, once its gone its gone, so better to be safe than sorry.

Since the attempt to build a proper compendium raised again I thought maybe my opinion can help.
I've been thinking this for a while, can we instill a way to classify the scripts? like for example monsterbation would be BATTLE; item manager, monsterlab would be INTERFACE; boulay's scripts, left UI (I miss left UI very much (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) )would be VISUAL, and maybe equipment ranges and super's income summary (which is broken for now, I know) could be DATA, maybe someone could come up with better titles (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) or add some other classification I might be missing.
But the second part would be making the first post of the compendium (or just locking the thread as it'll be just for mods to modify) with the above classifications so Scremaz or other mods add the scripts that users report as missing in the compendium and then edit the original posts with a check mark or an [ALREADY ADDED] so people know what's missing and what's not to further report
For now I can see that the script-apocalypse happened in page 196 of the script thread so there's 38 pages to check to see what can be added to the compendium
Does my ideas sound good or at least something can be of help for the compendium making?

protip: one may want to flee using the command on the skillbook, rather than a button in quickbar. in such a way the confirmation shouldn't even be needed because the user will have to look for the command to begin with. however, added.

seems to me that in wiki they are already calssified in a similar way (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

actually i thought about leaving the current Script thread for coders and to report bugs, and making sort of a release one somewhere, in which coders will go to announce their most recent versions. it should be pinned and synchronized with wiki if possible but yep, ideally one should only look at the first post to be able to update wiki. eventually moved into System Discussion section, since it's a bit more serious than just chatting.

Ok, first a pair of thing i'd like to get in battle (probably need a new script):

- Max HP/MP/SP near the current one for player in battle (now only the current are shown)
- Final Victory Pop-Up Extension (so it enlong until the bottom of the screen or the extra info get bloated in the dead monsters.

- Equipment Value in shop and Equipment Inventory (Showing the worth of the item directly so you don't have to select an item to see it (something like this: [ibb.co] https://ibb.co/iG9Xuk ).

And now a list of script i'd like to see revived:

- Item Manager (with MoogleMail hoverhaul to include the new multiple attach system)
- Equipment Comparison
- Smart Monster Lab (with all option toggable and arrow controls (moving left and right with arrows in monster screen, feed a monster with up, pills it with down, feed\pill all if needed in the main screen with the same arrow).

Those three are already in the main list, now the one that aren ot:

- Sort (Automatic sorting of items in shop by Quality\Rarity and with the option to hide\show only Treadable\Untreadable\+-50 Levles\level unassigned\level unassigned)
- Equipment Highlights (Simple Highlights that add a colored background (that can be modified by users) to item that have a determinated word in it.
- Equipment PAB Symbols (Add PAB symbols to items in shop) Possibly one addon for Higlights and PAB, both toggable.
- Lottery Prize Reminder (Add current Weapon and Amor Lottery to the selected pages with a direct link, possibily with the possibility of changing the position of the placement).
- Mini Monster Lab Additions (Moving left and right with arrows in monster screen, feed a monster with up, pills it with down, feed\pill all if needed in the main screen with the same arrow, Crystal for upgraded (Needed/Have), nothing more.

I think that's everything but my prorities are Max HP/MP/SP, Equipment Value, Sort and Highlights.

@Scremaz: The two threads for Scripts, one for releases and one for coders and bug reports, is a really good idea.

apart for the fact that Item Manager has a function that already covers the second you listed and the only useful seems the fourth, but whatever... if they existed and there's enough consensuous, they will be inserted in the queue.

Uhm, you pointed me to this thread whe i asked for a topic to ask for script (maybe with crowdfunding) so i simply imagined thet write here was godd, sorry.

Anyway, nothing on the first three exist, them Max HP/MP/SP because there was here before the 0-85 update (i don't really understand why Tenboro removed this useful value), Final Victory Pop-Up Extension because the pop-up was centered and more easy to read and Equipment Value in shop and Equipment Inventory because... i don't know, i think is one of them ost useful to have if selling items with Item Manager in the Equip Page.

From Sort to Mini Monster Lab Addiotion the answer is yes, we got all of them, if needed i can upload a version of those scripts working in the 0-84 version.
And trust me, Sort is a must in shop to permanently change the data you receive.

Finally, managing a thread where all users can post an unlimited amount of request will be hard, i think i have an half idea to get this done more easly.

Two threads.

1) A thread like the one for the Hovering Script but in the first few posts there will be the links to the posts of the requesters (users that request scripts).

- Requester have ONE post in the thread where they can ask one or more thing to be done, offer a possible compensation and ask other to contribute with a crowfunding.
Final scripts will be posted in the post to "clear it".

- This thread will not have any other type of post to keep it clean.

2) A discussion thread where all the discussion about the various request, and crowfunding can be done.

For submissions and bugs we can use the other two script thread (ore the only one at the moment).

That because putting everything in a single thread will be too much chaotic.

1. useful for what, exactly? you can always read the values out of battle. and if you don't remember while in-battle, just wait for an istance in which your restoratives did their work.
2. yes, i remember it. but now the focus is shifted to the top right, so it somehow serves its purpose, i guess...
3. in the end you'll still end up doing a sum, so at this point CTRL+clicking the various items.
however, my suggestion still remains. ask a coder if he can do them. the mere fact that i see them as redundant functions doesn't mean someone won't help you.

it seems to me that you're using two different scripts that modify the end-of-battle popup in conflicting manners. mine normally allows it to expand as needed, but the other script may expand it by a fixed amount. you may be able to fix this by removing all modifications to the popup's size from your speed statistic/round counter script

Ok, i made some tests and found that is HV Counter Plus that fix the lenght of the pop-up, i try to change it myself and if i cannot i will ask for a fix.

I fixed tatarime's SmartMonsterLab to make it running in HV 0.85 again; also included some styling fixes related to the 0.85 changes.

Fast forward to now when I ditched Adblock Plus thinking it was interfering with it. I'll never know if that was the problem because it's since become obsolete.

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask or if this has been definitively answered but have any scripts been implemented that restore what was effectively the original sidebar?

I don't know if it's my weird pair of resolutions on my outdated monitors (1280x1024 / 1440x900) in <current year+n>, but everything just looks wrong tucked away in the top left of the window like this: [puu.sh] http://puu.sh/xqWxq/8e9da95a42.png

Another reason I ask is because the current vanilla themes for HV (including Utilitarian) don't list max capacities for HP/MP/SP/etc. during battle. It's a bit confusing when I can't gauge exactly how much of my HP or MP is gone numerically with the limited information I am given during a battle and I have not found a remedy for this during my trawl through the forums.

Yes, there is a sticky Script Thread right in the subforum ( https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=65126 }) - and it is way better place to ask for scripts or find help with them than this thread, but there is nothing wrong than you post your message here =)

As far as I known, there is no pre-made script for offsetting window to right, but there is nothing to do that at all. I will make it when I will have free time =)

As for second request. I do remember I saw script with that feature, but do not remember where... Anyone, do we have something like this in most recent version of monsterbation script? I don't see options like that in my current version...

~Battle Stats EX~ has partially overlaying with both ~HV Stat~ and ~Monsterbation~, since in shows time of the battle and t/s. However that script is acting more like benchmark, so it is not fair to compare it with ~HV Stat~ and ~Monsterbation~. Also, its interface is more simple and clean to track and see.

~HV Toolbox~ & ~HV Crunk Juice~ has no overlaps

Scripts, which functionality incorporated in HVtoolBox (or will be in near feature)
  1. Percentile Ranges - already included
  2. Shop Cleaner - already included
  3. Equip Highlighter - already included. functionally would be increased in next version
  4. Unshrinable Figurines - will be in near future
  5. RE Same Tab - will be in near future
Also, ~Easy Shop~, but since that script is in-development and was intentionally being design to help player to create shops, I don't think in will interfere with HVtoolBox too much...

Scripts, which functionality incorporated in HV CrunkJuice
  1. Confirmer. It has two features: ask user before using ED and before fleeing. First is incorporated in HV CrunkJuice, second is in Monsterbation
  2. Monster Lab Numbers - fully included and works good
Stand-alone scripts
  1. Smart Monster Lab - last version, fixed by FabilousCupcake is working great and its functionality is so astonishing and simple, that I am voting to put that script in TOP-10 if we would have such rating...
  2. SmartSearch - we all know it is working and SuperLatanium doing his job good.
  3. Inline Difficulty Changer - works perfectly in last fix by Nekolor.
  4. HV Dark Theme - ahaha, no, it is better to post link to awesome boulay's theme instead sh~tty mine =)
  5. Boulay's CSS - haven't checked them, but since he is a talented graphic artist, I believe he constantly updates his scripts/theme and they should work in new version of the game
