We're making wiki pages to document when this happens.
It's very rare for the original work to be uploaded here since most are prohibited.
What page do you want to make?

The "series" i mean could be the series of dojin works, some of them are made into 10-ish or 20-ish titles, or even more, eg. C.L Orz or something like that, not sure if it is good to make a tag for them. Especially this one, for such short keyword it is hard to use the search function. This might not be a good example however.

The other situation I might think of is when I upload an original novel that is made into games or mangas, it is weird to use the parody tag.

The personal page is not able to create >< and I'm plan to "sweep" the anthology of 2D Dream comics, after the novels done, trying to make a more detailed list than the current anthology page, for some of them actually can be sort out in order, some of them are the continuations of the other, and there is some difference between the digital release and the physical ones to point out.

No...it really is not "good" to make a tag for them. =/

The big difference between those and parodies is that anyone can write parodies, while generally one group/artist writes a series. Therefore, even in a worst case scenario, you can generally just browse a group/artist; there's not a huge needs for any sort of series tag for those. "Real" parodies, on the other hand, can span a huge range of artists/groups.

Especially this one, for such short keyword it is hard to use the search function.

Put it in quotes.

I have a little request about the category buttons.

Could it be possible to add 4 new category buttons ?

1. "original" -> there are more and more short stories that are not exactly doujinshi but that are not even hentai manga (like Horikawa Gorou, Sanbun Kyoden and Nakayohi Mogudan's shorts). I noticed that uploaders write [original] at the end of the gallery name (though not always) so that we can see it, but I think it could be even easier if there was a proper category button for it. How about it ?

2. "rewrite" -> although a lot of people do NOT like rewrites as they completely change the story of an artist, sometimes creating totally different stories, rewrites keep on coming out very often, so I assume they have some fanbase.
I thought it could be a nice idea to regroup them in a category of their own, so that people who do not like them can exclude them directly.

3. "H-magazine" -> a category button for all those huge tankobon containing compilations of short stories, like Comic Megastore, Comic Masyo and Comic Hotmilk...
Since it's a different format from the regular "hentai manga", I was thinking that maybe it could be easier to have them all under one category ?

4. "3DCG" -> the last category button I would like you to consider creating would be for all those galleries containing only 3DCG hentai images, like the ones by Umemaro 3D. I was thinking of this because I saw there is an HCG category button but not one for this very particular type of hentai. :-)

I think those are searchable now using some method involving the parody namespace. If not then it should be doable with some adjustments to the search engine.

You can search or filter via the tag. You can also filter through your settings.

Can you add a meta namespace to bypass language filters?
eg "big breasts" would show only the galleries matching the filter criteria, "all:big breasts" would show all galleries, regardless of language and filters

Turn off your filters. Or make another browser profile and never turn them on in that one, and use that for those searches (assuming my Firefox experience at all translates to other browsers).

A pseudo namespace would still be a lot faster than both solutions (and more elegant, imo)
Also, creating new profiles in Chrome is about as fun as eating glass

On the other hand, you can do it, and it's entirely your choice. Probably very low in any list of priorities.

Add a way to track which gallery has replaced which. That would be very useful especially in cases of a more complete but lower res gallery replacing a higher res one and such.

Trying to searching the Expunge Tracker with part of the url (ex: for https://e-hentai.org/g/526046/c7e044b7fe/ search for c7e044b7fe) of lower res complete gallery, but I'm not sure for how long topics in the Expunge Tracker remain searchable.

Good luck with that. If Tenboro did implement this I'd be surprised if Tenboro made it search for deleted galleries.

If. And not a guarantee, especially if it's an old gallery that was found and then expunged for a newer gallery. (Certainly I'm not really bothering when I encounter such a case.)

I've been looking for a way to view the most favorited doujinshi galleries, but I can't directly filter by most favorites. The Gallery Toplists come CLOSE to sorting by most favorites, but I can't filter those at all.

So, if there's a way to filter the galleries by most favorites or filter the toplists period, I would certainly use it. (unless I am missing something and there's already a way to do that)
