Unless Tenboro would be able to radically change the expunge option to make it so that expunging a gallery also expunges any torrent on them, I don't see this happening.

Also, what if torrents are added AFTER a gallery is expunged?

They stay.

There IS a separate expunger for torrents, but nobody bothers with that though.

That's about what I figured.

I'd love to be able to view the number of times a gallery has been marked as a "favorite" on index pages. It would also be great if I could sort results by this value.

Irrelevant, not all people shares the same fetishes: i.e. some people favorite guro and scat while others favorite lolicon and rape. Having more favorite does not necessarily means 99% of the viewers liked the content, it just means a tiny fraction of the entire viewing population liked the content.

Also, I have encountered at least 50 galleries, especially those between 2007 and 2009, that contains great works but have zero favorites. Because back then, only a fraction of hentai-surfers actually knew about e-hentai or that it got the new gallery system.

Having a sorting system by the number of times a gallery has been favorited can be very inaccurate because it does not tell you whether it contains your favorite fetish/plot/content or not.

It will greatly disappoint you to search for a guro tag, clicked on a particular gallery that has 500 favorites, and only found out that it only happened offscene

There is no such thing as "black site" and if were was so called "black site", then it would be completely unrelated to this site and thus there would be no reason it should link to this site.

I really like the translation system on Danbooru, because translating an image with it is as easy as posting a gallery comment: a user just has to draw a semi-transparent rectangle over a raw text, and type a translated version of that text ([danbooru.donmai.us] here's an example). Of course, the result is not as "beautiful" as with an image translated using an image editor, and there are some issues to address like how to handle translations of a same text to different languages, or how to avoid abuses. But if it can increase the number of translated images or stories in the galleries, then I believe it's worth it.

I'd say not really. Their whole setup is geared towards individual images. Besides, we have a fairly sizable translation community right here who would be more than happy to get some GP for their troubles and post edited images.

It all depends on the implementation. Just the bare possibility of adding such a thing in an inconvenient way, no. A system that makes it convenient to translate and add such texts, featuring user-settable translation font, machine cleaning of the speech bubble and baking of translation into a new image, when user wants to download it, a bounty system for translating single speech bubbles and a ranking system to show potential translators which images are deserved, and a way to detect, report and get rid of rewrites might work.

That community isn't that big, hence the idea to attract more translators by facilitating their work.

Intriguing...Greasemonkey comes to mind as a potential middle ground (or bridge between E-H images and scripts hosted elsewhere)...if only I weren't such a lazy ass. =/

...Dammit, if I understood Greasemonkey better, I'd totally start playing with this idea right now. >_<

I also thought about creating a GM script for that (using HTML canvas), but that would require both the translators and the users to install both GM and the script, so it could never be wildly used.

Suggestion: "Track this gallery"

It would be nice to have something like "Track this topic", but for galleries. If it would possibly cause server strain if many people used the feature, perhaps just for the uploader of a given gallery, though I think it would be useful either way.

I tend to go back and check for comments on my galleries, in case someone asks a question or adds a useful comment, but in most cases there's no update. It's a waste of time compared to a real time feed gathered on one screen.

It could react to more activities, like when a gallery is updated with new images, someone adds a torrent, or even tags. Mainly though, I'd like to see it for the comment/review section.

A Hath Perk that lets you select individual pictures from a gallery to be packaged and downloaded like the "Archive Download" but with only the pictures you select

Pictures could be selected by a check box beside each thumbnail image or something

Obtaining more rows is possible, but why not more columns? Only 10 on a big LCD cover barely half of the screen.

2. Hide completely galleries with bad tags.

I know you can hide preview, but hide completely whole line with gallery name. It will make EHG much more clean. Instead browsing across 2500 pages you can browse 800 pages with content you don't want filtered out.

Is it possible to make it so topic starters in only the WTS forum are able to prune there own thread because that would be handy

like aizen teppa, add a feature that hide completely the bad tag with hath perk Tag flagging!!!

I would like to be able to extend the period you have until a download archive expires maybe with a button beside the link in the "My Archives" section once pressed it deducts the same GP as the archives worth and extends the periord for another week.
