QUOTE(Forth_Lancer @ Dec 5 2011, 10:58) From rename section: Can we have something to reduce an overpowered vote at renaming the galleries? Seldom, I found it irritating to see a new rename that can't overlap the previous one. You can make it limited to the responsible people from renaming thread.
A Rename ballot wiper/de-rename tool would be the easiest way (after the hard work coding it). For now, if there is a ridiculous high vote number to overcome, just PM me about it. Besides my 38 points, I can request a few hundred guest voting points. (I've already overcame a 180+ pt vote.) QUOTE(Forth_Lancer @ Dec 5 2011, 10:58) And, can we get mark or something like vote starter ID to show which one is the new one and which one the old options. It's really confusing when there is 2 or more options that not hit the 100 and the poster didn't tell us which one that need to be voted.
The newer one is probably the longer one. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Actually, there is a naming standard that most renamers follow so, the regulars can tell which to vote for without help. Fixing a veteran's typo is usually the only time we post the actual gallery name in thread.

Probably big enough to require its own servers. Not likely to happen. Make notes of what you watch?

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Dec 9 2011, 22:53) Check it now. It had some other issues as well, which would have prevented it from doing a HTML content-type for multiparts.
Thank you, it works all good now (IMG: https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=2806&.gif) However, I've just noticed a small bug when archiving PMs from the "Sent Items" folder, where the PM recipient(s) is(are) replaced with the PM author. For instance, with the HTML version, it shows "Sent to Hairs Fan" while it should actually shows "Sent from Hairs Fan" or, more useful, "Sent to #RECIPIENTS#". If the galleries CCS rendered the visited links differently from non-visited links, it would be possible to use the browser built-in history in order to realize such a feature, without the need to add more load on the server (provided you tweak your browser history so that it never forgets links that point to the g.e-hentai.org domain). But it's also possible to override the galleries CSS that way using a Stylish-like browser extension ... This post has been edited by Hairs Fan: Dec 10 2011, 16:54

If would definitely be useful, even for people who don't keep browser histories. I wonder if it's a big change to make...

It's getting more tedious to check back for new comments on old galleries as my number of galleries is increasing. Maybe a page that can notify you of recent comments posted on your galleries? Something like, a list of your galleries would be displayed based on the timestamp of each gallery's latest comment so that whenever a new one is left, the gallery is moved to the top of the list.

This doesn't really have anything to do with the Galleries, but can we has one of those nifty spoiler tags that can hide large blocks of text? Something like [ forums.animesuki.com] this. Spoiler text - Highlight to read... The one we have now kind of sucks.

The bug is in PHP 5.2, which is no longer supported. And the forum can't presently run on anything newer, since retarded idiots like to "encode" their shit with stupid addons that break compatibility between versions.

Look! I made a list of obvious stuff! User rating overrides global average: Yeah, the average is alright and all, but I value my opnion most than others. That being said, an option to hide galleries which you already rated, or a "checked" mark, could be an workaround to the "which gallery have I already visited?" question. Sorting options: Galleries seem to be sorted from newer to older. And unless I missed some hidden button somewhere, I can't seem to sort them otherwise. I cant show the older first, nor sort in alphabetical order, or show imagesets with more images before those with fewer, or even sort by rating. Can't do any of that. Display favorite marks in Thumbnail Display: Somehow, they are not there. Item sized favorite marks: This one may be a little silly but, I would prefer that instead of diamond-like favorite marks on gallery items the whole item(a line in list view or a rectangle in thumbnail view) turned into the color of the favorite category. I imagine that would be easier to spot, or so I guess.

Yeah, but mine aren't so obvious. Then again, you're right: It would be nice to have (obvious) inline spoilers for a single word instead of just one for the whole line. New tag: spoiler -> spoiler2? A 'background' tag would work just as well when trying to spoilerize specific words.
Setting background to 000000 and text to 000000 would force highlighting/copypasta to read but still be pretty obviously a spoiler.

As a frequent user of Favorites for my galleries, I find the amount to colors for my favorites to be too limiting. There's a lot of categories that I want to create for my repertoire, so I think that allowing more colors as a Hath perk would be nice.
I also agree that having thumbnails in favorites can make searching much easier!

I just had this great idea! Why dont we have some sort of page to catalog, describe, group, expunge and whatever else with the gallery tags? Or maybe I'm thinking too much booru?

Hi Tenboro I have some requests for the H@H client 1. Have the ability to set a Memory Cache for the client trough the GUI to improve throughput on popular images. 1.2 if that's possible maybe extend it so that the main server knows this file is preloaded thus faster available for the person that requests it. 2. Have the connection and current upload speed available in a balloon if you hoover your mouse on the tray icon The reason for the memory cache is mainly since i have more bandwidth available then the client is currently using. I think this is because the Disk is not able to handle the requests fast enough? I am already transferred to a better data store so now i can do 800KBs with 2000KBs peaks, but i want more! @_@! And the tray icon thing is for me to see if the client is going okay. i now open the window but it uses quite some CPU resources when i do so, so i rather keep it closed (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
