It would be nice to be able to edit bounties, or post comments on them. I just realized that a bounty I posted has a wrong link; to fix it I have to cancel and repost it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Which is a problem if a bounty has contributions from other users...

If there are any questions about people messing with posted bounties, 1) ban them when that happens 2) introduce a rank for bounty posters. For example, I have posted 50 or more (completed) bounties, and I'd assume there is some trust out there that I will not screw with the bounty system... :>

Well, in theory, if you couldn't edit the original text but could instead add new text, and each added update would be listed under the main text as 'Update X (data): text' , I don't see any way of abusing the system.

Gallery Toplists sortable by content type would be nice. (e.g. if I want to see what the most popular Artist CGs are, I wouldn't have to click through a million pages)

Collections.

Familiar with what.cd? They have a feature that allows users to make collections. I would like to see some restrictions on it to prevent spam, but I think it would be nice to be able to make collections of artists and series.

It should at the least allow sorting/manual ordering, so that collections can be made chronological rather than by upload dates. For example, you could have a collection of all the Megastore galleries chronologically, anyone able to edit the collection as it expands. Perhaps differentiate between private/public collection, though I'd personally prefer there to be no private collections and a set of rules for what can be a collection. Other examples could be "Artist X" or "Artist X in English". The galleries could also be given nicknames specific to the collection, and perhaps a sortable column for release date.

Would make it much easier to browse since most people would only ever want to see items in the original language or their native language.

Easiest way I can think of would be to add something that lets users tag the language without having to type anything to avoid having 10+ different tags for the same language. Maybe a row of buttons or something under the description box.

A slight modification to the rating system: when you browse, if you have given a rating to a gallery, then your rating will show up instead of the average and it will be colored green. This has a few effects:

Since people are seeing their own rating, they ought to rate more accurately.
People can easily figure out what galleries they've already visited as long as they rate them.
There's an incentive to rate galleries.

Personally, I don't want to see any Russian/Thai/Chinese/etc manga, and the cutoff is a serious issue. Without tag flagging (or not enough tags) you have to open the gallery, open an image, and then read a bit before you can determine what language the gallery is in.

1. Can we get a SOCOM list for galleries without tags? There are some old galleries like that. Better, make it for all galleries without tags with 10+ str

On that note, something to link different versions (galleries) of a manga/doujin together would be nice... though I guess it would take way too much work to apply it.

Ah, found the error - I tried searching with only excluding tags, which doesn't currently work.

I'd like to see number of comments on galleries, like the "Replies" column on forums. I don't really care about having it in the gallery browser, but I would love to have it in my "uploaded galleries" list. Perhaps even an "x new replies" function, also similar to forums.

Currently, I have to check my galleries from time to time to see if there are any new comments. I only have a few galleries, and I already find it bothersome.

Not sure if this has been requested before but 'ere goes:

Being able to select a whole bunch of galleries and download all of them at once would be awesome. I tend to download in batches and all the clicking involved gets on my nerves sometimes.

Download buttons (doggie, hthdll, torrent) clickable from the top/seach page would be nice, yes.

Well that could have the mark images as favorites. For example, I'm seeing a gallery and liked a picture, I mark it and it goes to my favorite gallery (a gallery that only I can access). I think it would be cool. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

A relatively simple way to improve the tagging system would be to make it ignore all invalid characters, so we can avoid tags like u8056u5974u96b7u5b66u5712.

Those who want it accessible from everywhere, with their every device would then have to manage them themselves, set up Dropbox or other cloud thingy and put the pictures in it. Seems bothersome.

It would be nice if uploaders would not be penalized for common searches; I get the regular 3-sec and the longer (?) image one often.

I know they are needed to stop spammers or n00bs, but for major upoaders like me who often check to see if hundreds of dojins are already uploaded here it is annoying.

Suggestions:
* create a perk or perks to eliminate this restriction
* tie it as freebie to the gold star or having uploaded x galleries

I'd quite like to quickly be able to search for all the galleries my Tag Flagging has picked up as good.

An option for, "Search for Tag Set 1", "Search for Tag Set 2", etc
