When viewing in thumbnail mode instead of list mode, you can't see what category it is from(eg manga, hentai, cg, etc)
And names are being cut off which sometimes makes it impossible to know if it's english or some other language.

I'd like to know which galleries I uploaded have comments in them, and see the latest comments.

For some people like translators this may be even more useful.

EDIT: also, I'd like to have a counter for the misc/non-h/western/ap galleries I can upload. I just hit the limit at 199 galleries, and I don't know if this is because I am still one short of the timed 95 galleries limit, or is there some bug in the system.

Is there any way to be able to increase the number of torrents one is able to upload at a time to more than ten if there is a history of successful completions of torrents in previous situations where the maximum number of torrents was uploaded at once and then completed?

For example, say I upload the maximum number of torrents allowable without having any of them having any completions and then, they all get completions over the next few hours. Is there any way that one could be rewarded for this by being able to upload, say, 11 torrents the next time he uploads the maximum number of torrents allowable without any completions and so on as long as they continue to get completions?

This could also work in reverse. If a user uploads the maximum number of torrents and none of them get completions within a reasonable period of time, their maximum number of torrents they can have without any completions would go down by 1 every time this occurred.

Even if you are a "good torrent uploader", having more than 10 fresh torrents out there that are only seeded by you isn't a good idea.

Thank god. It's bad enough seeing the torrent page flooded by people uploading a bunch of torrents that only have 20 completes a day later.

I think it should be restricted more, cant believe the crap some torrent have, also remaking torrents when the other torrent in the gallery is obvious alive.

I dont know if its been fixed or not but uploading a torrent when someone else have already made 1 a few days ago should be punished severely. Which is why i stopped making torrents almost entirely.

Generally I agree. I'm tired of seeing a 1-2 people covering an entire page of the torrent listing.

I think the exception for that should be if the uploader barely got any completions. A few torrenters grab every popular thing the second it comes out (I honestly think some of them are using scripts to auto-torrent anything with certain text in the gallery title), but then barely seed it and get almost no completions. When that happens I have no problem with uploading my own copy of the torrent and posting it around.

If you look at my torrents, almost all of them have more than 100 completions, with more than 75% of them having more than 1000 completions. I only upload what I seed, so I don't flood the torrent page with torrents that will only get 20 completions; they'll all get more than 100 completions, with most of them getting more than 1000 completions.

Also, all of my torrents are uploaded by hand, without any scripts or auto-helping tools of any kind.

The only thing missing from the galleries is being able to exclude terms from your search... There's way too many translations and magazine clippings cluttering up the search results! I'd love if you could type something like "-translated -english" to only see the raw stuff

I'm curious, how do you simplify the process in which you only attempt to search raws
In my case, every time I have to enter something like "whatever -English -Chinese -Spanish -Thai -German -French -Portuguese" which would come to the limitation of 8 words, and I still can't filter Korean....

I was thinking maybe using the tag flagging feature, but the "Hide" option doesn't seem to do what I thought it would.

OK, I found afterward that it could be done by filtering "-translated" tag, though it's considerably ineffective compared to the method I mentioned above, for there are so many translated stuffs that are not tagged with this tag(e.g. "bai asuka -translated"). I was considering how about define the language property as a class with higher priority as well as the "manga, non-H etc." or perhaps its sub-class which obligates users to defined it before uploading it.

Another question I have always wanted to ask is that if it is possible to sort the searching results by download count or favorites number just like that of YOUTUBE, for the sorting by minimum stars appears to be somewhat unreliable, particularly in cases that the evaluations were given by only 1 or 2 persons.
Though I understand there is few possibility that you have been keeping the parameter of download count since it's foundation.

Goddamn I would love a way to never see Non-English or Non-Japanese galleries again. Every day it's a million Thai or Spanish galleries using translations probably from English. And using the Tag Flagging feature can only block so many languages or other tags before you run out of options.

Me too, I also want a way to only see Japanese raws, no translations. I have no idea how that would work though... maybe make it so that if you type "japanese", anything tagged with a language (e.g., "english", "russian", "chinese", etc.) doesn't show up? Is that even possible?

If you're already searching for something in particular, you can use " -translation " to narrow the search by removing anything with that tag. Although non-English translations do not always get that tag, so they'll still slip in.

This could be done with a logic chain that first removes all translations, and then ads English tagged galleries. But I am not sure how to do it on Google, not to mention here (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
