I would like to suggest a "show tagged favorites" tag option, which will show all your favorited galleries that has that tag in it. Another thing I would like to suggest is to add a "search favorited galleries / search favorites" in the search advance options.

Also both suggestions would finally allow the people that has been asking for it a long time, to use a thumbnail option to view their favorited galleries without needing to use a script.

I want "filesize" shown below the thumbnails when [display:thumbnail] is on.

You can either addit, so it has [class icon], #ofFiles, filesize, RATING(stars).
or
change the format of "XX files" into "XX @ ##.## MB" <-- seems more simple, and saves space!! PLEASE.


DIFFICULT/COMLEX have it fully customizable, user cp/settings, what is shown below thumbnails when [display:thumbnail] is on.
Example: we can toggle off/on

filesize
language
etc.

please add a way to delete all files in a gallery so file updates can be done easier.

basically, delete all files, without deleting the gallery itself, ie: keep the title, info, description, etc.

For example, a 'translation' namespace which you can input the link and what language the translation is. Then upon checking the tag, the user will be brought to the translated gallery.

1) There can be more than 1 translation in the same language.
2) Gallery URLs can change (updates/reversions).
3) Galleries can be expunged/removed/etc.

The same points apply to comment system as well. I don't see a good reason why it's better. Not to mention that the comment can only be edited by the commenter while the tag can be changed by almost anyone.

We could just go hog wild and tag titles - possibly even tag it in a "related" namespace or something - so that people can click that and find everything else. We could also link a "series" (not parody) if the gallery is a part of some series like the DL Action stuff. Of course, none of this is anything you can't do searching titles, if titles are done correctly.

But if the translation links are built into the system/database, automatic updates to those links when something is expunged or updated probably wouldn't be a problem. I don't know how unexpunging works exactly, but that might be a little "off the beaten path", though it might not be that hard to integrate also, really. The presentation is really the biggest problem, I think, but if you maybe put it in a pop-up window or tab behind the tags or something, it could use all the space it wanted. ...Actually, maybe it's the biggest problem after the question of what mechanism to use to actually link galleries together. That's a pretty open question.

I'd suggest a manual system where you can add translation, artists of a tankobon, chapter name of manga and so on. It takes more manpower to do so, yes, but it's more flexible and (should be) easier to set up.

I think this would be more reasonable. Obviously the system can't recognize whether a content has been translated into another language, but users can, so perhaps there can be an entry below "language:xxx", called "alt language:yes/no". By default, it would be no; clicking on it would bring up a pop-up window similar to expunge petition window, listing any links to other translations (if any). In the same window, users can add links to alternate language-translated galleries and indicate the language used. If any entries are added, then "alt language" would be automatically changed to yes. To prevent false/troll linking, there should be some sort of up/down voting measure to vouch for the links, and too much down votes would automatically delete the link.
