A lot easier with scroll of shielding, but still wasted like 6-7 godly pots on the last round because of the new resistances. Used to be able to rape them all simultaneously with FoL but now that does almost no damage. Oh, and I only have 2 points in sleep - if artifacts weren't being little bitches I'd have fixed that by now >_<

Just remove absorb and put everything on sleep, absorb is pretty useless as a mage since you kill them fast enough anyway. Sleep owns the trio so hard its not even close.

I find absorb useful still, mostly because of the absurd amounts of damage some of the magic skills can do on BT (*cough* Toddlerguro *cough*)

Well im still about 10% damage short to be able to play on bt so i dont know there, but from my experience up to nintendo it isnt worth it, so it really depends on how fast you can kill at the difficulty you are playing at or if you have ap to put on everything ^^.

I don't find the trio hard, it's just getting past the initial 99 rounds on higher difficulties that is annoying.

Scythes can't be dual-wielded with wakizashis either, so it works out.

If I get an extra channeling (almost non-existent now thanks to the new channeling rules) I'll usually use absorb.

That's how I felt prior to trying it on Hell. Now the final round is a bitch.
