superior gold-trimmed cotton gloves

all from cakefest

Picked up a sucky buckler, and it worked better (paired with a fair dagger) than my awesome 2hander ever did.
So I blew a weeks earnings on a decent kite shield.

I just found a [Fine Ethereal Axe of Balance] in Graduation on Nightmare . However, my main weapon is pretty nice as it is.

Trying to decide between these two.

Are more mobs weak/resistant to Slashing or Soul damage?

The rest of the stats balance out, with the lack of burden and higher hit bonus vs. parry chance and better attribute bonuses.
