I am never seeing any armors for sale at the shop, or had any drop. But then again, I've only had 2 drops in a week (both 1h weapons).
Is this because they are being instantly bought, or are they rare compared to weapons?

I dropped 3 weapons and that was awhile ago

I'd love to have some nice cloth pants, slippers, gloves, and hat. Even crappy rags with bare bone stats.

I will just have to imagine them in all their cottony glory... tis more pleasurable to want sometimes then to have.

Only because I can blame my inadequacies on being naked but for a crude club and average shortsword.

I've got my interference at 4.5 and burden at 28.5 and I still get resisted left and right. There's almost no point in using depreciating or elemental now, the two things I pumped up really high.

i've managed to get it down to 28.5 (intr) and 44 (bur)
unfortunately, most of the armors i've found are heavy armor, so i'm kinda stuck
but at least it's low enough now that i can get spells to work

When you wear non-mage armor, you gain interference. While an interference at up to 20 does not decrease your chance to cast and land a spell, it still reduces your damage from offensive spells by 1% per point.

Let me repeat that.

yes, cause, you know, weaken and silence is like totally all about the damage they do when they hit
being a warrior with heavy armor makes it impossible to beat legendaries when you can't silence them
i can get by normal monsters and mini-bosses with nothing more than shadow veil(only have 2 points in that atm, btw)/regen/cure, but legendaries can 1hko you, which is why everybody looking to one day beat endgame+ will NEED weaken and silence

Well dur, if you wear the highest interference plate armor you can get your hands on, you won't be able to land much of anything. If you expect to be able to tank most mobs in the game without magic AND get everything the mages use to stay alive in addition to that, you're on the wrong path. OTOH, a full set of five pieces with the least interfering chainmail armor will only give 17.5% chance to fail a spell.

Just be happy I decided to let you have Cure, and Regen, and Shield, and Barrier, and Shadow Veil, and Spark, and Absorb. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Still got an unanswered question from the update thread, I think it might get an answer here. To hit two monsters with a 2 handed weapon do you need to hit the monster on the bottom of the two or you can also hit the monster on top in order to proc hitting two monsters?

Also a quick question, is mitigation on equipments a negative bonus?

Not necessarily, I have hit monster below and on top.

Mitigation is an additional percentage. Points Absorbed is a base value. That amount of damage will not affect you at all. Mitigation is a percentage of the damage in addition to the absorbed value that also does not affect you. At least, that's the logical thing considering the definition of "mitigate" and the context. What I do not know is when the percentage is applied, but its most likely the base damage before absorption.
