I'm not sure if this has been said anywhere else but it seems like an item with identical name can have totally different stats.

Like this lv20 and Lv25 Fair Iron Estoc of Slaughter I am looking at, aside from being 5 levels apart their stats varies by a lot.

Yep, I've mentioned that, over in the the version thread. I was asking Tenboro about how some armor have an extra mitigations array, even though they're identically named. It seems Snowflake is the codename for the equipment generation algorithm and that each piece of equipment is unique. They're comparable in stats with their same-named counterparts, but they'll not be exactly the same.

Ah. Looks like getting the "perfect" equipment will be really impossible assuming the stats of the equipment ever gets to work.

Nope, there won't be a set of "Perfect Gear" that everyone wants/has. Sure, some labels will definitely be more sought after since their stats are comparable, but that doesn't mean they give the same relative amounts of bonuses. The variety is more interesting that way. Annoying and frustrating, but interesting.

It may be the worst weapon ever but it didn't take too long to find...I'm only lvl11 though, it's nice to have a weapon.

Yes. Some people don't get equipment drops as frequently as others, even with training.

also quartermaster doesn't add 5% to the drop chance, it increases the base value with 5%

So if there's a 1% chance for equipment to drop, that doesn't become 11% but instead becomes 1.10%, meaning at level 20 it's 2% rather than 101%
