I for one am getting sick of seeing potentially awesome equipment getting wasted by not having any PABs or the wrong ones.

Can we please just skip to the torches and pitchfork uprising against Tenboro stage until he promises to slightly change the system in order to either guarantee a minimum of 1 PAB for superior or better, or better yet the primary stat for any given piece of equip is guaranteed to be included?

e.g.:
Staff = Int
Mace = Str
Plate = End
Power = Str
Phase = Int

And so on, with one sure fire PAB so we don't have to see any more exquisites or higher with 98%+ in desirable stat(s) and no PABs to back it up. It's just irritating as hell.

Yeah, but to be fair we all know that your ebony staff is legendary and silver tipped, so your standards might be set a little higher than ours.

his staff has 1 increment more MDB than mine. ie 37.61 base vs my 36.6x base. would be a very sad case for him if his 20 million staff was weaker than a superior one. i guess it'd be even worse for him if my staff had just been bumped to exquisite with a little random luck on the useless rolls.

MDM is not the lone measure of a staff. Or else I might have upgraded this. How's it stack up on accuracy, proficiencies, EDBs, PABs, and ET? Yeah, rhetorical question.

And I didn't say it wasn't sellable. Just trash. Someone would still buy it because they (1) can't distinguish between what's good and bad, (2) don't have funds to buy good equipment or don't want to invest the time needed to acquire it themselves, (3) want to save money by settling for a lesser piece of equipment.

Never suggest something like that. HV is a complement to the whole E-hentai system, not the other way round. That means Tenb should finish anything that improve the site's performance before turning his focus to HV.
Also, the message has been conveyed though different threads to Tenb. You don't need to remind him again and again, as it's deemed annoying.

Naturally MDB* isn't the only value to go by. Thankfully you didn't upgrade that staff. Definitely not MDB value worth looking at since it pales even to an Exquisite and Wis/Int worse than my Superior's.

Overstatement. The NORM is worse than trash. It's the stuff that is hardly worth the time to click "Sell All" at the bazaar now, because it's 99% [BAD QUALITY] [TIER 1] of the [WORTHLESS SUFFIX] with missing or no PABs, regardless if you're playing on Easy or IWBTH, and regardless of what LotD you have.

And 0.7 base difference is hardly "pales in comparison," so stop talking out of your ass.

My scale is more like "Why can't I ever get one of those," "meh, guess I'm stuck with this forever, until Tenboro rewrites all of HV to make me switch classes," "trash that can be sold," and "worse than trash" (99.9% of current drops with maxed trainings.)

And I wouldn't say it pales, because most people would kill for it. However, it's not very good for a Magnificent, which is why you've probably never seen me mention it before. Note the EID... i.e. it was generated long before EX+ bonuses were added.

Really odd overall with Agi, Dex, and Int PAB. Better than no PAB at all. Prefer zeroacg Shade equipment piece with 6 PAB which is very nice.

Get used to seeing equipment with no PAB. The luckiest equipment will have 6 PABs if it is possible (it was on a Shade).
