Just found a [Average Silver-Tipped Willow Staff of the Curse-Weaver] on the 28th round of a 35 round long Cakefest (no items, but that's superfluous.)

14% proc of Ether Theft for 1 turn could be better, but methinks this is good enough to see what it is like being a mage.
