This changes my attack strategy. Nice changes.

Confirmed: poison -> weaken -> poison and I cast MM. Icestrike -> lightning and I cast MM. Fireball -> Poison and I casdt MM. I was targeting Blue Slime in an hourly battle, normal difficulty setting, if that helps.

I get the same thing in IE, FF, and Opera.

That would be IE 8.0.6, FF 3.5.1, and Opera 9.64.

havent had a problem with ie8 yet (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I played some hourly battles and some Grindfest. Intentionally I didn't change nothing on my abilities, so they are like before. I lost some fire rating (dropped from 10 to 7) because of the aura changes.

For a low level player like me, the balancing seems to be fine. Using Fire and Cold against normal monsters seems to work better than before. The monsters drop much less items in the hourly battles and in the grindfest in the first 3 rounds.

One thing that never happened before in grindfest scares me a bit

I got a Legendary with 2255HP in the 2 round. Never happened before. Do I have to expect this on my level in the future?
However, Green Slime and Scary Ghost were dead after 12 turns. But with only 187 of 235HP left I was defeated in the 24th turn (dead by global warming). The new ability that monsters can recover their MP and SP made it impossible to me to defeat him (at least on my level).

But beside this it's a really great update! Looking forward to get weaken on Lvl20 and "earn" some equipment.

I've run into another bug. If you select something under the magic menu and then change it to something else before attacking, it will always cast Magic Missle instead of what you actually selected (for Offensive and Depreciating.)

Also, Weaken is devestating compared to what it used to be. So much so that I think I don't need Sleep anymore. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Strange. Weaken seems to be a lot less effective for me now. I may have to put some points into Sleep after all... Well, anyway:

Yes. I saw it when I selected Weaken, then changed it to Windblast. Or something along those lines.


A thought about the "missing graphics" problem: I just upgraded Firefox to 3.5.whatever and it's started bitching at me every so often about a "low memory condition" and then randomly not displaying stuff. So that might have something to do with it, unless other browsers are affected too...?

Could you clear your cache and see if this still happens?

If monsters regen mana, we should get a small regen too =3
