Err, well. To be 100% non-ambiguous: it works for physical attacks and *physical* skills. But it does not work for *magical* skills.

Um.. well grindfest monsters seem to be a little stronger, but I assumed that's because my elemental ratings have been slashed and I'm getting hit for more magic damage. I hope that doesn't mean legendaries will get stronger too.

edit later: yeah, the battletoad monsters are on steroids now

That's kind of odd then cause it seems to be an hour after I've finished the battle, and I've actually lost a few minutes to that before...it's probably a problem with the text showing up later than it should be or something, though losing maybe a minute or so isn't that important :X

Yeah, there seems to be some 5 or more minutes period i which you can engage in the battle.

The healer gives one Mana Elixir a day at best, so how the heck am I supposed to restore my supply when I can't even get them playing past the cap on Hard? I think the new restrictions are a little too severe.

I've also played about a dozen hourlies on battletoads and it hasn't given me anything other than the worthless Lesser health potions and such.

I'd be fine just being able to trade my Spirit Elixirs for Mana. But yea, those things are crazy hard to get now.

I would say you can still consider yourself lucky, i've also played about a dozen hourlies and never got ANYTHING at all, and only a few crude and avg potions from grinfesting.
The armor and weaponery Tenboro mentioned, well i only know from chat that they do exist, but unless i do some arenas past Test of Faith on higher than normal settings (which i have no way of surviving in current condition) i don't think i wil see any anytime soon. The drop rate of everything seems to be lowered to like - 0

I know i am complaining a lot all the time but it seems to me like Tenb. did not notice that the game was hard enough already and forgot to compensate for the even harder setting.
Now i'd have to switch to Cake to play the previous Normal.

Once you get cure at level 40, monster battle get easier. You can last longer in grindfest and arena challenges, get better items, and earn more arena bonus for upgrade (AB and pack rat).
