Am I wrong or all the monster are more easy to defeat?

I noticed this after the update...

I see some of the arena challenge layouts have been altered. Like Power Flux starts spawning one mini-boss at round 6, two at 11, and three in the last round.

I'm about to pass level 20 and just find out my hability tree totally changed, i mean switching ratings for spells. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
I really dunno much about the internal formulas, so i ask you guys where I should invest my futures points, increasing Health Tank or Elemental Ratings?

Anyone else notice that you can get Armor Proficiency even when you dodge attacks? It feels amazing to not take damage and get a bonus for it.

Oh, and xanagu. Definitely get the HP Tanks.

Absorb is still breaking for me, I just had it happen again:

Seems like the buff was removed whenever it had a chance to trigger, even if it didn't. Should be fixed now.

Well consider that each turn you swing your weapon once, but can have a mob of 10+ attackers each swatting at you, it only makes sense armor would go up faster.

I think this was brought up before but...

1 3 Weaken procs the effect Weakened on Amphibious Sperm Whale.

5 3 Amphibious Sperm Whale crits you for 16 crushing damage.

6 4 Amphibious Sperm Whale crits you for 16 crushing damage.

I thought this couldn't happen if they were Weakened. If it matters, the Whale was also Poisoned, but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

And why doesn't it make sense? You attack a single monster per turn with your weapon and get attacked many, many times in return, depending on how many monsters are in the mob. Of course it's going to go up faster.

example

I had a weapon well before I had armor, yet my highest proficiencies between the two sets are:

One-Handed - 17.52
Light Armor - 52.22

@Tenb: suggestion: maybe upping the loot bonuses for lower, but still difficult, arena challenges? I just beat A New Beginning on hard, which for me, is fucking hard. I got a lesser health draught as my reward and not a monster dropped a thing :\
Test of Faith: lesser mana potion... :'(

Does the loot rate just not like me??

Also: Do monsters use magic/spirit on other monsters when confused?

I didn't find any refference for the difficulty settings that is now updated to Legacy Encounters and HentaiVerse Encounters.
Is the Legacy Encounters = old simple battle system and HentaiVerse Encounters the right one for dropping credits and equipment?
Just want to make sure.

Weapon proficiency seems extremely stingy compared to magic proficiency. In my last battle I cast Windblast, Shield, and Cure once each and all got proficiency points, yet 10 Attacks got no proficiency points. While this battle might be a bit extreme, most battles in which I whack-away in are only delivering WP about once every 7 attacks, whereas magic gives points about most of the time, and obviously as a mage-type my magic profs, especially Elemental are much higher than my only WP.

I need better than a 1 in 7 chance, at 0.45 WP and Level 45, to even bother trying to raise it, especially when I can end a battle two or three times faster with just magic.

@ Bob - Yes, the Random Generator that gives out prizes hates you, bbgr, and me. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
