So while we are waiting for implementation of other Bazaar functionality then the healer, how do you think it will look like? What would you like to see?
I am personally curious as to whether players will be able to sell their items to each other. Would you like to see something like Hath Auction, but for items?

UHm... how should it look like?? Askin' for an image, perhaps???
I´m not sure if it would be even a good idea to have a player-2-player commercial action. It MUST have, definately, an buy'n' sell interface for getting rid of all those useless items you get from time to time.
I would like, too, items upgrades every 5 lvls or so =P

Agreed We saw the problem with that in EQ1 all the level 50 giving their level 1s level 50 gear iE: <Twink> if it wa player to play whats to say they wont just sell the item for the lowest denomination to someone els the know just to make them uber (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Not really sure if that would happen in this system but its always a possibility. To prevent the above they made the items like armor level dependent so a level 1 could steal wear 50 gear but the stats would suck so bad since it was so high above you that it would be better wearing gear of your level

I'd have to agree; P2P reaction should be abolished, or there should be something in place so that only certain items should be traded (scrolls, potions, draughts). I agree whole-heartedly about the "five level" idea suggested by other people... but for anyone who's played Perfect World, perhaps a system like that could be implemented; set up a different array of weapons / armor (swords, wands, polearms, staves, etc...) and give each "level" of weapon or armor a series of criteria to be met. Examples: - A Lv. 1 Sword would require 10 STR and 10 DEX, a Lv 2 would need 15 STR and 15 DEX, etc...
- A Lv. 1 Polearm would require 15 STR and 5 DEX, a Lv 2 would need 25 STR and 10 DEX, etc...
- A Lv. 1 Staff would require 10 INT and 10 WIS, a Lv 2 would need 15 INT and 15 WIS, etc...
It's just an idea, but it's something that will help vary the way people build their HentaiVerse personae (so a magic user can barely use swords, and a heavy-hitting warrior can't use staves). It will either encourage a lot of diversity, or it will keep balance between all the "classes" so no one attack type becomes overpowered.

wouldn't locking the weapons to those that are a certain level and above be a much better idea than taking away possible customization of a character that you only have one chance on? and frankly, if a player to player auction house type thing gets added, and i can't sell weapons/armor i might find to other people (in turn get forced to unload it to a shop for next to nothing), i'm going to be pissed (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) what am i going to sell? the low level draught/potions that nobody wants? yeh....might as well not add a p2p selling ability at all

Indeed, I fully hope everything will be tradeable to anybody. Free market works the best, just look at EVE online (it pays to have an economist on game design staff (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)). Now, level requirements for some weapons wouldn't be that strange to HV, since already effectively have level requirements for spells. And with trading market active, one could sell the weapons/items one finds useless, so it would probably work out...

For the reasons mentioned above, I don't think a trading system would be a good idea. Besides, Tenboro has enough to worry about already (like making senseless changes to tagging (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)). I'm thinking someone wants to go off on how free market's ruin the economy and how it's all America's fault right? Just a guess.

I am for free market. It is a pain in the nikta (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) when u have good stuff you cannot use and it hurts like hell if you have to sell them for less than nothing. This game is hard enough already, it could use a little plug and play. Please see https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=20251This post has been edited by Lunatic2: Jul 27 2009, 20:09

It does have a good economy though i will give it that.. Most items are based on your skills so why not just cap items to a certain level per that item say level 1 sword level1 level2 sword level5 ect. that way everlastings freely trade-able and you cant just throw level 50 items on your noobie.

Seeing how the equipment is working out, I am now strongly convinced that there should be no shops selling items nor equipment, just players trading items, perhaps through an auction-like interface like the current Hath Exchange.
It would suck if you could buy an item instead of having to earn it through combat. And if the shops would sell items as prices high enough to prevent flooding the market, than next to nobody could afford the stuff anyway... plus it would take away the element of discovering the different pieces of equipment.

it'd be a good idea if only certain equipment were sold in stores (base weapons, with no stat other than damage for example), along with a fair price tag that would allow people to get a little boost, while still making it a better idea to buy from others/find their own this works well in mmo's, for when people are just starting out and can't afford anything other than the bare essentials
this would also give sellers a price to build off of [below avg weapon] - drop - sell for less than store [avg equipment] - drop/store - sell for less than store [slightly abv avg equipment] - drop - sell for same price as store (maybe a little more) [abv avg equipment] - drop - sell for more than store
average = store stats

There needs to be a store just so I can sell all the items and equipment cluttering my inventory.

This. And hopefully they won't only be crude and lesser, and hopefully not only draughts. That would make me sad. There should be bulk discounts too. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Here's a theory why equipment shop is nearly always empty: it is not because the equipment is so rare nobody has spares, but because the prices are ridiculous. I have a spare Average Iron Mace of Slaughter, but I am not going to sell it to the shop for a meager 181C, this is terribly undervalued and considering the demand for equipment, a price 10 times that much (~2k creds) seems reasonable.
Of course, if I sell it to the shop, the shop will slap a price that is about ~2k and sell it to somebody - but I refuse to work through such an evil intermediary. I wonder how many others are hoarding items because they refuse the sell it in the shop for a price they consider unfair?
