Guys I got a small problem with cracklingcast. Quite often, its hover gets stuck and doesn't do anything for no apparent reason. I have to CLICK on a monster to attack and get it unstuck. I'm using non-vanilla Reloader besides it, just to let you know.

Did you activate the option "use reloader" in cracklingcast?
Also, if you're using melee settings, use the mousemelee in reloader, not the one in crackling.
If you're mage, it's another matter, you can try the sapo mod of reloader and toss cracklingcast or use spellspam+reloader (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Oh, right, this thread is not updated so search for those I mentioned, in the script thread pinned (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

This shouldn't happen, obviously.
First of all, since this seems to be the case most often, did you disable hover-stuff in Reloader? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Tech stuff: Never tested this fully, since i only use vanilla reloader, but there is probably sort of a race condition where Reloader does some combat stuff and CC does not get a chance to unlock itself (there is a functionality in CC to only allow one action to go on at one time).

The only other, rather implausible reason, i can think of on the top of my head would be a very unique setup on Chrome. You'd need to get Reloader working on its own, or use it with TM while CC is running as a native script.
Tech Note: Never noticed this before, but it seems to me, that non-vanilla reloaders don't implement a specific work-around for chromium browsers (for devs, check ll. 158-167 on vanilla).

personally i'd prefer for this thread to be a temporary one for compendium and nothing else. it's not like we'll hammer whoever posts here, it's simply that the visibility is way less than what script thread has.

Frankly, if I am using cracklingcast for the mousemelee, it's because I have a much better control over the buffs. So using Reloader's mousemelee instead is a big flat no. Gonna watch what is sapo though.

All this being said, any workaround doesn't delete the fact that cracklingcast fails big time and needs to be fixed.

no, and they will still be useless since the last patch broke pretty much everything. coders are slowly but steadily working on new versions.

so, if you are looking for a hovering script, check Mansterbation on sickentide's sig. that's pretty much the only hovering script needed. all the others, well... keep an eye on Script thread.

The vast majority of scripts are completely dead/obsolete now.
All you really need at your level is Monsterbation. The rest... meh wait at least lvl100.

It is really unfortunately that even now, what remains of f4tal's legacy continues to be desecrated by other people.

I submitted a support ticket to mediafire, hopefully they'll restore those files.
They gave me a support code: 5w8ibr

Even if most of the scripts don't work anymore, the old compendium serves as a museum for relics of the past that reminds everyone of how HV used to be.
