I was just given access to host a H@H server and when I set it up and choose a port and forwarded it through my router and run the bat file, it gives me an error saying that I need to check if this "::ffff:***.**.**.***" is my ip address. I know that's not my ip address. Any idea on why this is happening?

It's just an IPv4 address written in an IPv6-compatible format. The thing after the ::ffff: is what should match.

which it does. ok then that's fine. But I'm still having issues getting it connected to the world. I've read through the FAQ and I couldn't find anything that was my issue. I have it port forward to my local ip and it's an open port.

I've also checked the port on the site which is linked on the FAQ and it says it open and seen.

Is there something I'm missing?

Is anything showing up in the H@H log when you check for connectivity? If no, the connection is likely going somewhere else. If yes, post the startup log.

I saw this in the log
There was even going to be a party for you. A big party that all your friends were invited to. I invited your best friend the companion cube. Of course, he couldn't come because you murdered him. All your other friends couldn't come either because you don't have any other friends because of how unlikable you are. It says so here in your personnel file: Unlikable. Liked by no one. A bitter, unlikable loner whose passing shall not be mourned. SHALL. NOT. BE. MOURNED. That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official. It also says you're adopted, so that's funny too.

And here is the [pastebin.com] Log_out

I have and like I said before, the port is open.
I've also added the java flag and that did not help.
I have the port forwarded to my pcs local ip.
And my IP is public.

Did you add javaw.exe to your firewall and/or router? My client gets that message if I forget to.

It's not printing any connection lines, so if CanYouSeeMe and such say the port is open, most likely something else is getting the connections.

I did. It's allowed through both Private and Public.

ok I just changed the port to 8080. I changed it in the settings menu and the client received it but I still get the same error message. And when I look at canyouseeme it shows the port is not seen. I also made sure that port 8080 is forward to my pc as well.

edit: Would having an error "Cannot initiate startup multiple times with the same key" be an issue?

If you can place something between your touter and modem (assuming they're not the same piece of hardware) and check where the connection from CanYouSeeMe is heading to. The router certainly has some connection log, which also should be updated when the connection arrives (actually, when it is established).
