I noticed something yesterday that's different (though I can't swear when it changed, I assume it was when this change was done/the home page went away, blah, blah, blah)......and that's that when you click on the "wiki" button at the top of the page from wherever on the site, it used to take you to a page that had a link straight to the "Category:Tag" page... here...

but now it doesn't.....or that link just isn't on the page anymore, now it takes me here...

and I need to (so far, the quickest way I found to get there) go through special pages to categories and then to "tag" to get to the list.

If you're using Firefox, try disabling HSTS Priming (about:config > search security.mixed_content.send_hsts_priming > set it to false)

Good job, Tenboro! I access EH via Tor and wouldn't want exit nodes snooping on my cookies, so I 100% support this change.

Currently the bitcoin.php links on https://ehwiki.org/wiki/donate go to the old URL that can't be posted any more, and which doesn't resolve for me - the updated link removes the g dot prefix - could someone with the power to do so update the wiki page?

So FF will not block the HTTP2 protocol for not using the same CORS features as HTTP1.1

We don't have HTTP/2 enabled anywhere yet, so that would only apply for external resources.

Since e-hentai.org now redirects to main gallery page, how about making links to other aspects of E-Hentai more visible (or at least better positioned) and more relevant?

Think about new visitors coming to EH for first time and the first thing they see are galleries but with no idea what else are there for them to go to or use. Links to HV, wiki, forums, etc are just bare-bones links assigned a very narrow row at top of the page.

Point out that wiki is there for them to learn how to use the site and its features, encourage them to register in forums for community interaction and assistance/feedback, and that there's a game they could play when bored. Stuff like that.

Oh, I wasn't aware that this was intended. I thought that this would change back anytime soon.

Dawn events are already available on the galleries and have been for a long time (I know because I only get them that way nowadays)

Dawns can be triggered both from gallery pages and the news page. I'm not entirely sure about the banners yet. They may go on the news page, but if you have any suggestions I'd like to hear it.

Awesome! I can simplify a lot of stuff now. And thanks for keeping the HTTP on g.e, userscripts will still work for some time thanks to that. The userscripts will need to be updated at some point.

I made the same mistake years ago (the first time Tenb was thinking about killing off the news page). But after some searching found all the doujins in the galleries.

I'd argue that we could have the banner on https://e-hentai.org but *not* have it on https://e-hentai.org/?page=*

P.S. I did login during the time you were switching URLs Tenb. And went to [e-henta.org] http://e-henta.org , it scared the shit out of me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . Notably because half the page was missing. It all works now.

Other than the fact that they should be on the last pages of the galleries themselves not really. On the other hand this is not a good way of finding them either since some got better versions uploaded.

You may try ticking "show expunged galleries" and then go to the last 10 pages of the galleries.

I still get broken encryption and mixed content warnings because the images are hosted on a site that uses ip addresses instead of an https domain.
