Has high Burden so that would lower PXP0 a tiny bit while instead being supposedly desirable. It's not cheap but seems to be a better deal than some of the other equipment I see in that shop.

I had seen this equipment some time ago. I didn't like the fact that it has several attributes below 50%. That's why I want something with higher PXP as it increases the chances of having better numbers overall.

I have been thinking, maybe you should remain the way you are. Because it's possible that 4+1 Balance is the optimum configuration for 1H rapier, just like how 4+1 Cotton is the optimum for mage. You will have a higher crit chance, are more likely to kill SG with one Vital Blow, and are more likely to inflict PA and keep it active as you sweep across 9 enemies.

The more Slaughters you get, the less impactful each later one is due to additive stacking, while the crit chance from your first Balance pieces will help the most.

On mage I think maybe shoe or gloves is preferred Cotton, I assume that is because they only want a little bit of that. It could be that 1H rapier doesn't mind more Balance, so 4+1 or 3+2. If this is the case then Armor is the piece that should be Balance. Because the higher crit chance stacks most efficiently on the same piece; the same reason if you have enough funds it's ideal to get Jug5 + Element5 (and not Element2 + Element3, etc).
