Core Revamp: Uploader, Tooth trim |

The upload interface has been revamped to take advantage of various fancy stuff that's been added to HTML and the underlying software stack over the last few years.
- The Create, Modify, Upload, Preview and Reorder pages have all been combined into a single management page, which also has several data readouts that were not previously available.
- Modern browsers can now upload an arbitrary number of files at a time, up to the gallery maximum of 2000. You can still upload archives, but it would no longer be necessary to create one just for the upload.
- There is now a progress indicator both for the sending and processing parts of an upload.
- Reordering can now both be done with the page selector and with drag-dropping the files around.
- Added the functionality to auto-reorder gallery pages based on the filename, using either a regular or natural sorting algorithm.
- You no longer need to explicitly "create" a gallery before you can start adding files to it, creation and initial upload can now be done as one action.
- Most of the "I have done something, click to continue" screens have been eliminated.
- Various layout tweaks to improve readability.
Please report any issues with the new uploader here.

Thank you based Go.. err Tenboro. No more having to recreate the whole gallery or manually re-ordering hundreds of pages when you forget to rename those pesky awkwardly named CGsets when uploading. Also just uploaded a new doujin and everything seems to work fine so far.

No issues spotted so far, and that will definitely make both management and uploading easier. Progress working as intended, also seems to be much faster than before. Many thanks Tenb (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

- Two galleries uploaded, no problem so far. - You fixed the description of max image size as well. I think previously it just said 10MB. - Someone needs to remove natural sort from the "never to be added" wiki page. ...Four out of the seven suggestions I made last year have been implemented. Feelsgoodman. QUOTE(parkh1739 @ Jan 9 2017, 15:21) The thing that i really want all the time.
Chrome shows upload progress all the time. Perhaps you should have tried it :)

I was going to say just that. Never say never?

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jan 9 2017, 12:47) - Added the functionality to auto-reorder gallery pages based on the filename, using either a regular or natural sorting algorithm. Nice. I know that this is quite late but I was thinking about asking for a similar feature (which I believe that, since the above is possible, should not be difficult). Add an option to prepend the filenames with the date of the day they have been uploaded, and then reorder (possibly in reverse order). This will make it easier for uploaders to keep new images at the beginning or end of a gallery. And that will make it easier for taggers that cross check new images for (e.g.) lolis.

The mass select upload without having to archive the files into a .zip/rar and moving images around with drag and drop were my two most wanted features. Thank you.

I think it can be even better to split it to two separate functions i.e. "prepend upload date" and "reverse file order". The reverse function will be useful on its own in cases where the filenames directly reflect a date order. For example, newer images from Pixiv have bigger non-padded numbers prepended to the filenames and applying the reverse function can ensure a continuous reverse order. This Pixiv example happens everyday in the galleries and adding these two functions separately will probably help a lot.

Serious problem encountered:
Deleting files via the X button causes the "Start Upload", "Publish Gallery", and "Save Changes" to stay grayed out no matter what. Refreshing does not fix this. Only way to handle this is to use one of the sort buttons. If this is intentional it's very non-intuitive.

The cause for this is a dumb feature with reloading in Firefox where it inconsistently preserves various modified data in the DOM. It's not a site issue, and you do have to either revert or save the changes if you use Firefox.

Awesome.
This'll make uploading future tanks/doujin compilations a breeze. Now, as for scanning them...
