No, it just means you don't have enough free ram for when Firefox has a gigantic memory leak and chews through gigs of resources for no reason.

Found one. (wordfilter issue)

Fix'd. Also auto-linkified.

Doesn't have anything to do with memory leaks. Someone screwed up when putting Firefox 51 together, and enabled an unfinished and broken feature that was scheduled for Firefox 53 or 54.

- H@H clients that maintain a quality low watermark of at least 7000 can now go up to 6000 static ranges.

This is great! Any plans for making the low watermark readout public?

Don't know if this already known or even meant to happen, but I accidentally found a way to replicate the "Tag Flagging suddenly stopped working even though they're enabled" bug:
  • Make sure Tag Flagging is enabled (duh)
  • Open a new incognito session and login as usual
  • Go to My Settings in the incognito session and hit Apply, no need to change anything (just make sure Tag Flagging is disabled)
  • Try refreshing the page in the main session and Tag Flagging will not work anymore (still enabled, but flags are no longer added to the page)
(tested on Chrome, Chromium and Firefox, results are always the same)

"Tag flagging becomes disabled if you turn it off" should probably be filed in the "working as intended" cabinet.

The problem is that turning it off in another browser or device (or an incognito session, in this case), also turns it off everywhere else, which seems weird since it looks like the on/off flag is saved in a cookie
If you access the settings page on the main, non-incognito session, Tag Flagging will still be reported as enabled, except it isn't since flags are not added anywhere

Because of how Tag Flagging works, it stores some state both in cookies and on the server, so if it was last told to turn it off, it'll be off until it's told to turn it on.

CloudFlare, huh? Hopefully there are no further security implications involved.

- The "Get External Gallery" code generator functionality was retired. It was barely being used, and nixing it makes some future changes far easier.

Pity, I was one of the few that were using the feature it seems. With the Wiki gallery style, it could be used as a quick diff tool to compare two versions of a gallery thanks to the thumbnail URLs (to only download the modified pages), since few uploaders state in the description exactly where the changes occurred.

I'll have to think of a browser add-on or a user-script that replicates the functionality (perhaps also for pages past 40... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ).

Bounty rewards from people other than the poster now also lock in after 15 minutes, and can then only be rescinded after a month or if the bounty is cancelled.

I was waiting for this one, thanks.

I might be blind, but is there a reason why google search of e hentai doesn't pop the result of the front page like it used to, instead sending me straight onto gallery page?

Because the gallery page is now the front page, the old front page can be found by the News link at the top of the page.

See the HTTPS and URL changes thread for more details.
