I honestly think it was more fun that way (if someone can't guess trolling on the internet doesn't deserve to win (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)) but whatever, his credits, his rules (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

If the trolls all consistently picked a number that was high or low (and people knew that), it would be more acceptable, but as is, all they really do is increase the variance, which rewards the good predictors less.

And ultimately it is these players who cause themselves and most of us to go home empty handed when they could have at least got a little something had they cooperated.

Asking for just a couple players to cooperate is understandable, but asking for almost every single player to cooperate and guess the same number is unrealistic, I fear.
