...And exactly for that reason your Staff is not good, it has bad stats since it's not matching.

Type determines stats. Non-matching results in much, much worse EDB (or MDB) than otherwise. So type is the #1 consideration, before even looking at the range percentiles within the equip's type range.

It would kinda be like seeing a matching staff with EDB -200% or something like that.

In general, yeah. Starting bid of 950k was too high. But don't take my word for it, or ppp82p's word for it, just look at the market behavior. (which we have now seen. no bids)

A couple of caveats, though. Willow goes really really well with Imperil mage, especially on PF. Sure, with Fire, Redwood is more matching and is better, but it's not impossible to make Willow work. Second, the equip in question here was level 294, and at that level (and below), players are having serious trouble finding anything Legendary-quality to begin with, so it's vaguely plausible that someone with funds would be willing to spend a few hundred k or so on this.

In your Staff BOTH dark(15) and fire(11) EDB are BAD.
If it was Demonic it's base dark EDB would be near 25, or if it was Temepestuous(or Shocking) its base wind(or Elec) EDB would be near 18.
Do you understand how much of a difference that makes?
Your Staff can only be a beginner's one.

because it's not matching. to have a matching one you should've had (just saying) a Fiery Redwood of Destruction or a Demonic Willow of Destruction, and at that point you would've seen respectively Fire and Dark EDB higher than in both cases.
