QUOTE(SXIndy27 @ Aug 17 2016, 06:12) Well I hope so, if not, dunno what I would have to say to the two people commissioning me for books that's only available there (I ain't doing auctions, too expensive).
They take both debit and paypal, and for future reference to anyone you can't use PP for adult goods.

What, you don't enjoy paying $20 + shipping for a single doujin on auction sites? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) These artists that don't post to consignment sites are killing me...

Uh, Nagomi sures have no problem using PP for adult goods. But anyway I hope you're right about Manda taking debit Visa. QUOTE What, you don't enjoy paying $20 + shipping for a single doujin on auction sites? anime_cry.gif
These artists that don't post to consignment sites are killing me... Unless those books are very rare, very popular, and wound up $30 and more?

I am, I bought a book there recently. And speaking of over priced auctions, it was the same book I lost out on to someone that paid about $130+ while I bought it from Manda for like 1000Y plus shipping. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Anywho, my only advice for single shot auctions is using it in conjunction with your current shopping so you can at least make use of those bloodthirsty prices.

Seems already people uploading stuff from my already bought order....
Anyway, I'm still waiting on when Butagoya's Kyonnyu Fantasy doujin and this BI-SHUN doujin get released as every other item is just sitting there in a deputy service.

Btw is it normal for Mandrake to jack up a product's price margin substantially? A dakimakura I want to obtain is listed as 10000JPY on the artist's website, but is sold as 16000JPY on Mandrake. Is that normal for ToraMandrake (Oops typo)?

I guess it depends on the item. I bought a book from them for like 2000Y, while another one I was outbid on going for 130.00+ I bought it for like 600Y.

Damn, maybe I should buy it from the artist website directly if possible, but Mandrake's international shipping is much more easier to deal with (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Depending on your location, you could probably make out with 10000Y for the item and about 4000 for overall "extra" costs like commission/shipping. With Mandarake it sounds like 16000 for the item + shipping.

Hmm good idea, but it's out of stock since day one now (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) Looks like I'll have to wait for the next Comiket or something similar for them to restock (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Mandarake tends to base their prices on availability and demand. So things that are marked up generally have some special circumstance, like there no longer being any way of buying them new.

Takanae Kyourin isn't that popular overseas but I never knew that she is that popular in Japan (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

If someone is able to self-produce a daki cover, they've clearly got some level of popularity.

Note to self [Mandarake]: Don't use SAL. Ever. Almost 15 days of waiting from shipping out to arriving...at Customs. Stick with EMS.

I could've told you that. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) If you're in need of a cheaper shipping option, go with Small packet AIR, never Sal. It's 7-10 days, but a fraction of EMS. This should better explain the differences. [ goody-japan.com] http://goody-japan.com/shipping.html

Just got my package and got a booklet from melonbooks: [ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/vUJnS8k.jpg[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/gkk63wO.jpgIs anyone interested in me scanning this (or know if it's already scanned)? It's mostly ads, e.g. "here's the latest doujins and eroge coming out!" but there's also some full-page lewd artwork (no idea if it can be found elsewhere on the internet), and I think some kind of interview/explanation of Kino (of Kinokonomi)'s drawing style. All I'd be posting is raw scans, not cropped or leveled or anything.
