Minor update to fix and improve some stuff.

Battle Stuff

- Tweaked the base behavior of Confuse as follows:
-- Instead of having a 50% chance of hitting you and 50% chance of hitting a random monster, it now has equal chance to hit any valid target on the battlefield (including the player and itself).
-- Each additional ability point put into Confuse will both increase duration by 25% and decrease the chance of the monster hitting itself by 25%

- Sleep and Confuse now have a base 90% chance to break the spell when the target takes damage. Each additional ability point strengthens the spell and reduces this chance by 10%, to a maximum of 50%.

- Increased the duration and reduced the MP cost of Silence

- Changed the font on the battle log to something that works in more browsers

- Fixed an off-by-one bug in calculating duration boosts from having more than one AP in a spell (instead of increasing duration by 0-100% it would increase it by 25-125%).

- Increased base attack/magic hit chance by 5% for both monsters and players

- Fixed a bug when training Atonement that made the forum update fail, causing it to not apply until the next scheduled update. (Thanks Sonic)

Ahh that explains why i just almost got my ass kicked.

With shield and weaken i still took ~60 damage per turn, and i find that a bit too much really.

But yeah, overall good i'm sure :3

Did weaken get altered. Before weaken would stay in effect for 15-16 turns for me. Now it's only in effect for 11-12 turns.

and no, i can't try on a lower difficulty because that removes them from the list.

Depends on the approach, I guess. I only use Shield and Shadow Veil in the first rounds of battle, so I don't die while I Weaken all monsters, and then I kill them one by one keeping them weakened. That let me beat challenge 8 today with no perceived increased difficulty.

I would say that it makes DEX and AGI more important, since increasing evade is more useful when the base hit % is higher.

Ouch. Arena challenges were already difficult with the attrition particularly MP. Reducing their duration makes it painful.

The arena has indeed gotten much tougher, expecially on normal (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) I'm still udderly failing against the Zombie Cow

@Tenboro: I didn't get any sort of death message when the Hedgehog finally killed the Cockatrice for me, nothing like "has been defeated", no line on this at all - is this normal? No negative sideeffects?
