I've been spamming HV a lot for the last week. Idk how long I'll keep being this active.
I want to reach level 500 someday, but the exp curve is really tough. It's a really long grind.

With the new hath change in effect, I suppose some users are lamenting over the higher cost, so I reckon a helping hand might be useful. Free 800 haths for all users that:
- Have no stars
- Have no awards except for confectionaries
- Are at least HV LV 100
First come first served as usual. I should have enough haths to cover a dozen people.

You can not buy weapons in the market. You can buy weapons on the equipment shop, but you should not.

You can buy weapons in the WTS forum, but it will be difficult to find a low level weapon. There are low level weapon shops.

I once opened a low level equipment shop, with definitely cheap prices, but got almost no customers.

My impression is that most low-level players either grind until a monster drops what they need, or buy from the Bazaar (I sure did in some cases), or get their equipment from the charity you linked. Very little interaction of any kind between rookies.

I'm using Niten and make 211Lv now, those monsters pretty hard to kill. I thought Spirit Shield might helpful to endure this agony moment but it's still hard to make it...

There could be a small influx of players from the GP change back in July (me being one of them), though I suppose people who want to download galleries are fairly rare, hence the quietness.

Most people I imagine just come to EH to find something to jerk off to and then leave, with no intention of collecting / archiving. People who actively want to download stuff now need a steady source of GP, and HV is the easiest way barring a donation.

My impression is that nobody actually plays HV willingly, they either do it for GP and/or hath perks, or are already too deep into the game to give up.

A lot of people play HV willingly.

Unless people have a serious stockholm syndrome, there is 100% no reason to ever be level 500 if you don't like the game. Also, there would be little interest in peerless equips, shrining or collecting.

In fact, if all you want to do is download galleries, there is very little reason to interact with the weapon markets, design builds or get top tier equip. None of the content available in the forums would make sense. HV "success" can not be explain by a gallery-downloader-completionist argument. Many people even spend real money buying stars for other people in exchange for credits so they can complete their builds.

I'd say the boards are pretty active for a browser game in a porn site in 2023. Consider the fact that videogames with graphics exists, and have existed for the last 60 years. Tough competition for cute little HV.

If you check the why play HV thread, you'll find plenty of people that started playing HV to unlock a couple perks and ended up being a top 0.1% player. People just enjoy grinding.

Wanted to grind hath perks so started recently climbing that hill but stayed for the funny monster names, the community and most important Snom. But with the new hath prices its like having leeches on your testicles, somewhat a pleasure but certainly draining.

In my case, it’s roughly 40% interest in the game itself, 40% motivation by the credits gained, and 20% motivation by the (rather limited) interaction I have with other players.

Sure, I like to hoard stuff, but clicking on monsters is not very much more fascinating than clicking on single comic or photo pages, which is a free download method.

Now that we’re well beyond COVID lockdowns, I rarely play more than several random encounters and maybe a few arenas a day. If I’m feeling really distracted, I might also play a run of 25–100 grindfest rounds just for the heck of it. Has happened regrettably often in the past few months.

When I was seriously trying to avoid real-life contact with people and still new to the game, I often did all or most of the available arenas during a day, albeit on low difficulties.

This is a farewell message of sorts. With the Isekai season end, I have access to slightly over 6 million Persistent credits, which means I can finally pay off my bronze star debt. After that, I feel I cannot call myself a poor player any more (even if I end up with another huge debt, which is imaginable).

This thread has been a nice place for get-togethers and chit-chat. Thank you, everybody. I might return with a few extra credits or hath some day, but my charity acts will likely remain modest.

Snom has lost it's virginmillions in Bazaar and more virginsmillions in common markets, and WTS place,... And when Snom had not known what is percentage index if an item, Snom did throw away some pieces what could make Snom a millionaire at that time....to the GREEDIEST MERCHANT, the Bazaar. And yeah, Snom does possess Struggle move, at the moment.
Snom wishes Snom would gift those away rather than trade those with Bazaar-san...

P/S:
- Snom used Struggle (onto the new blessed Waki, from a saint).
- It's super ineffective!

The problem is that the monsters are nothing more than a line of text, and those start to blend together after more than a 100 rounds. Now if i were to be assaulted by a pair of bouncing rabid tits.gif it would be a little more bearable, visual stimulation is needed to activate our hunter gatherer instinct.
