When you try participating in the collection event only to realise that with the amount of time required to drop the gear involved would take around 3 months by average play time... Don't really want to lurk on the equip shop to buy the stuff either as it doesn't feel like a valid thing to do.

New years rush over for another year. Didn't win the lottery but there's always next year.

First time in 2 (or 3?) years that I didn't hold (or even have any idea/plan for) an xmas/new year event. I'm considering scraping all event plans for the near future since I have been dealing with a lot of irl bullshit lately and haven't had the time + mental strength to keep holding events that require a lot of logistics from my side.

New years rush is finally over. Hope everyone had a nice holiday season and didn't have to fork out around $10k for various repairs for things breaking like I did.

Felt a little dumb biding more than half of my current credits on a Shade Gauntlet in auction. But It's really a good one (at least in my view) , and it's of a low enough that makes it soulfusable for me - I can even reach that level within a couple of days.

If I can really get that one, I won't need changing Gauntlets for a long~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~long time, hopefully. A lot considerring would be saved in that case. matters a lot for me who's really not comfortable with changing and CHOOSING equipments every several level. It burns my bio-cpu.

But I can hardly afford more than that for now. I hope, maybe more like day-dreaming, I can get it.

what a long and winding road of finding available low level equipments worth soulfusing. and even harder to get them while endgame players are in the biding war as well.

well... now it's gone. a lv500 guy just bid at a price far beyond my reach.

I know it's most just complaining, but it really makes me feel powerless to think about those with maybe tens or even hundreds of millions of credits also want those low level equipments. that is when, IMO, the poverty hurts most. NOT when you simply cannot afford something, but after searching and struggling for something for a while, then found other one(s) just... get it easily, and that is merely one out of many options they may have. It's not only about poverty itself, more about comparison, about the gap at afore.

P.S. Seen a kind person want to surpport me by sending me credits.Which is totally out of my imagination on this case. thx a lot for the good will. but I'm not in all that a bad mood, perhaps just being sensitive during midnight. any way, my sincere gratitude to that person (I think it's better to keep the name, even the display name undisclosed unless get the permission to do so). And I promise I will try my best to pass on the good will I recieve.

that one is gone for good in my view even with support. But, any way, I've seen pretty nice chaps here, recieved a awlful load of good will here. Hopefully I can somedays be here as a so-called rich guy, supporting the ones in need, who may be like my current self.

I spent a while reading this thread from the first post onwards -yes I'm fucking bored- and it is actually an interesting post about how different things seem to be regarding what being poor means, and how much things cost and stuff, probably due to inflation. I also think you get more credits in general from "playing" sources, but of course I know nothing.

and I am still left wondering on what the poor player threshold is, after reading all of that x)

Richness probably depends on your income and your overall goals, like going after full peerless but can't print credits with a credit card or a bigass hath farm? You're most likely poor for the ones who can do so (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) On the other hand if you're barely getting your gear in shape or on the first forge levels a couple millions can take you really far so it really depends on where you are in your goal tree and how fast can you obtain certain resources.
As for playing sources, turns out leveling up gives you access to higher income...to a certain extent, and that's mainly in the natural higher defenses so IW and GF sort of open up and the access to more schoolgirl arenas which mean more trophies which mean slightly more money. Also some perks might save you some credits here and there but after a certain point it mostly stays the same. I used to get 1 million credits every week or so, now at level 500 it only takes 3-4 days, and when I was leveling up to 500 it was very close to 1 mill a day, somedays it's faster it it was a good day at the market and every once in a blue moon you might drop something auction worthy (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

You see, I had a sudden revelation after typing that thing above and realized that talking further about it is only gonna hurt so I'll leave it at that
