You might think it's intuitively the case but this only really applies if it's someone who's already guessed copying more guesses. Newcomers are strictly getting benefits while potentially diluting the prize pool of existing players.

Hence why I had said...

(I don't have perfect understanding of the prize rules; I didn't really try to analyze the math in full detail for this event). If we do give someone songs, it might be better to give them to someone who has been actively participating and is dried up, like bensalenkkari.

I'm not gonna say the strategy out here but a quick simulation showed that the 3 newcomers each got a fair chunk of prizes while decreasing everyone else's prizes by over 200k credits (in value). A single or two small ships are not gonna offset the chunk lost from having to share with more people.

Though it's fairly obvious either Pretty Anon or mxy215 is gonna be the one coming out on top. Not gonna spoil the results though.
