Whenever that happens and you still have a bit of time to do it try playing a Grindfest in any difficulty you feel comfortable enough for as long as you can and it should yield a Blood Token every few hundred or so rounds. If it doesn't you at least get some crystals and other drops as compensation for your troubles.
