Well, we all failed his teachings. Pretty anon just got lucky in his first submission and now his success rate is down to 33%. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I blew it majorly too (or it could have been minorly) and ended up with the exact same 57% success rate after all rounds that I started with after the first round. Being graded after each round might have helped me get rid of that new class of failures I made starting in round 2. Another difficulty was the sheer number of songs needed. I went through most of my hard drive and barely had enough songs. The same probably happened to the other contestants, as they had a string of valid songs for a while, then ran out. It looked like I ran out, but it was because I tried to end my final round with only 90's songs, which are apparently harder to find those chords in. I did ultimately find 7 anime songs from the 90's (just chose not to use two, and incorrectly failed three) plus optimus prime who got DQ and so there is no one to stop megatron. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Nearly all my time was spent listening to the chosen songs and close rejects over and over to try to confirm the chords. It didn't take long to find the song candidates; I identified and fetched most of them in minutes from memory and instinct. |
