QUOTE(Pretty anon @ May 10 2021, 08:12) From the results of this week's auction it seems even three-digit millions are not enough, at least not on the lower end (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) If we measure richness by the highest bidder, then there's only one rich person in the game - the single wealthiest person - and everyone else is poor, because they'd lose to him in a fight (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Poorness depends on your measure... in HV terms, I think the measure for poorness changes depending on where you are in the game. Wealth is relative to your ability to access your goals - if you're a level 300 melee player, 10m is pretty wealthy, you can buy a solid amount of upgrades for that. If you're a level 500 player with DD9, FoS, peerless staffs, whatever, and the only thing left for you is ultra-specific legendaries with high rolls, or worse still, peerless mage gears... then you're poor even if you have 1bil, because you could lose that bidding for 3-4 items and then have to earn it all again. Ultimately richness is more about income than how much you have... the real rich guys in this game are those who play with their credit cards, who can print another 80m whenever they feel like it. Or the top H@Hers who print 80m approximately once every 2-ish weeks.

You know, I got to thinking, maybe this is because I'm actually stupid and missed something or it genuinely isn't written down; is there any reason not to run item world on trash items? Doesn't seem like it's increasing the price for selling, but it certainly is a good quick burst of EXP with little risk of running out of mana and getting murdered due to having relatively few waves on the lower-tier stuff.

Road from Lv.200 to Lv.300 is the hardest. After Lv.300, things become better QUOTE(The8Vampire @ May 10 2021, 14:38) how about getting 20k credits is the max you can do per day

What i've learned from isekai is that one could start playing at iwbth after 150 and pfudor after 190. Superior and exquisites are enough. At 250 you should have at least 2~3m. i did it playing dw and got everything from bazaar and self drops since leather and wakis are trash for most of the players (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

On a lighter note, had a +345 Ethereal Rapier (Level 175) drop, in addition to a Katana that's better than my mace, so I guess things are looking up. Right now I'm maxing said katana and a half-decent Wakizashi; anyone want that rapier? Figured I'd ask before just shredding it for materials.

Well, can't deny that. Don't really have the power to buy many perks but I haven't suffered regarding gear or upgrades (except bindings of slaughter, why are they so expensive if supposedly everyone is a mage or moving towards one? Who knows.) and I don't know how common are people looking to buy a star with creds but that second part has left me without words.

for 1 month doing arena in Nightmare = no good drop monster Lab x10 = all trash + keep using my low income on archives (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) those damn Thick doujins I think maybe you haven't understand what Sharmy said; when he says "farming SG arena" is speaking of the last three arenas only (in your case, only End of Days, until you reach the level for the other two), because they have SG (aka Schoolgirls) in the last rounds. EDIT: correction, also the second-to-last, and soon the tlast too). Now the catch is, SGs drop trophies (not always, 20% chance IIRC, see the wiki) that you can sell (not in bazaar, which gives nothing) for 2.5k or 5k each depending on which ones you get. And this chance is independent of difficulty level. So, you can blaze through it with shitty equip @Normal, and still get (on average) enough trophies to earn 20-30 K from this one arena alone. The EXP gained doing it will also be useful to reach the level where you will unlock the other two arenas, and doing all three last arenas each day (even on Normal) you'll be able to quickly reach your first million. By the time you'll reach above level 300, you will have enough to buy good equips for your style of choice (perhaps not mage, but still ... that's an exception for other reasions too), all the basic perks and forging material. EDIT: correction, if you start farmin last 3 arenas only now that you're already L.297, it will take you a little bit more; btw, I did the same mistake at that level, insisting on doing first-page and lower second page arenas on highest diff. hoping for drops, instead of farming SG arenas at low diff. I have come to regret it a lot in the meantime. And I even played the first/second RoB s instead of farming Noodles. But I wanted to quickly acquire as much Token of Bloods as possible, 'cuz I wished to open as much monster slots as possible. In retrospect, it wasn't a very wise move (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) We learn from our errors, too (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) The only real way to become, if not really rich, comfortably well-living in this game (besides using real money,or hope for a quite improbable superlucky drop), is to learn whatever there is to learn, in order to use all available resources as efficiently as possible. Wiki and the expert forums are your best resources here, believe me, but it also requires a constant effort on your part. There is much to know, and what is best also changes with the level. Take it easy and don't get discouraged (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This post has been edited by mundomuñeca: May 10 2021, 23:24

because there are players who aren't mage. for melee, they need 320 Slaughter to full-forge their gears, they need so many so the price raised. same thing comes to Destruction, although popular charged mage need only 95 Destruction, some radiant mage do need 275 Destruction, makes Destruction more expensive than Protection/Fox/Owl. Slaughters are still expensive because they're used for all melee, on weapons and armors, and armors go up to 100, and it's the sole thing many people even bother upgrading (at least the most important) - while mages only really have to use destruction on staffs, for example, since radiants give such a small payoff and many run charged anyway. Since the price of stars is still 80m and not going down, I presume there's no shortage of people buying them. It depends on location and provider. I don't know how much they pay, but I suspect it's significantly less than you might think.

I've done both. I really like HV. Those hath perks are pretty sweet. The faster you can get them the better it is over time. H@H helped me get all my hath perks plus I've won a few items in the lottery with the gp I got from there as well. Stars are also very sweet. The more you have the more wealth you'll accumulate with time. Plus the proficiency exp bonus helps a lot. Well that's the way I see it anyway. I just really like this game really. Sometimes I wish I had more time to play. Since its the poor players thread I'll donate enough hath for a new small perk to three players in this thread.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Take it easy, it's not Radiant Heimdall, so your lose should be less than 50m (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) For me, things are much simple because i never get anything decent (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)
