In my opinion, only playing this game normally is basically the definition of being poor. Things that might get you out of being poor include being able to get credits some other way, such as:

• running Hentai@Home
• selling Gold Stars
• fulfilling bounties
• dropping a PHOH or PSWD
• using feminine charm to entice males to keep giving you credits
• having a buddy give you lots of credits

It depends how much credits you get for each of these, though.

If you play the game normally but diligently (having high turn/second helps) you don't have to be ultra poor, at least. You get poorer by leveling up too fast without making enough credits for equipment upgrades. This can happen if you buy gold star too early, or don't have time to play and level up through dawns. I skip most dawns, and all dawns when I'm inactive.

Those who played the game effectively and avoided stars, while still playing extremely diligently and often, won't seem that poor eventually. This is because for whatever given level they are at, they will have put more work into the game, and they are rewarded for it. But this alone won't make them rich; that requires outside credits.

By the way I recently lost my "high" bandwidth (2.5 turns/second) internet connection due to irrational ISP cost, so there's zero chance I can run H@H now. I never tried it before anyway due to having a limited PC resource and for location reasons, as was advised.

My new 20 MBPS connection (which costs the same as my previous one) has only lost ~0.1 turns/second though, which is pretty good considering that a few years ago I only had 1 turns/second. I guess my internet speed upgrades had been more on the backbone side and maybe independent of ISP.

Never been rich but when I see people busting out 300-500 mill without hesitation for a single piece of equipment in auctions that hits me harder even if I ever manage to earn 100 mill in the bank...

I skip most dawns.

Is there a way to skip dawns while still play RE? I thought you must have the dawn before you can have any RE on that day.

I asked the same question before. I don't believe there is any way.

So the strategy to skip dawns is more advisable if you meet more of the following:

• Your level is medium to high, so that your natural leveling is slow
• You want to stay low level (this approach is not for everyone)
• Don't have enough time or power to do all arenas per day
• You have nearly maxed equipment drop trainings
• You gave up hope for getting lucky equipment drops
• Decent Assimilator training (dawn doesn't utilize it)
• Focus on one style for better proficiency
• You didn't learn much Adept Learner (while you didn't know better)

There are lots of good reasons for not wanting to stay low level (though many players probably just raise their level without really considering why). If you want to start maging early you'll want to level fast. If you are certain you'll max out regardless you may opt to race to level 500 and 600 proficiency as soon as possible. If you are really rich and just want to go to catgirl and max out and start getting free credits every dawn, that's good too.

For example, what decondelite did was really smart (and I could follow the same path, though I don't foresee that). He held down his level with no stars for a really long time to get strong and play efficiently. Then when he got to kind of medium-high level, he used his wealth to suddenly transform into catgirl and race to 500 and start maging seriously.

There are also multiple players who deliberately grinded diligently to level 500 with no or low stars. Then only buy gold star (or more) after hitting level 500.

This idea though didn't apply before hentaiverse 0.85 which wasn't that long ago, so anyone playing before then had pure incentive to just level up fast.

1st part: 600 proficiency is not a realistic goal for basically anyone to achieve, without insane grinding and crazy exp bonuses.

2nd: make no mistake, staying low level did not increase Decon's income to a point where he could buy catgirl. He bought those stars with real money (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

To tell you the truth, they are just cheaper when you buy them in a pair. They are even cheaper if you take the sixpack, but i thought that i never would need that many anyway so i just did buy the pair.
