I've been slowly trying to work up to getting the collectible figurines so I can use the Orbital Friendship Cannon skill. How many credits do I need for that, or where can I get the collectables? The wiki Item page doesn't seem to help with sourcing them.

it's a rare artifact drop, could be obtained from normal drop. consider it as a rare variant of precursor artifact.

if you wants to buy it, a set maybe cost around 400-500k depends on seller.

Well, you can buy them, so either you take a look into the shops in WTS, or you make your own WTB. There are also some people who trade them 1:1 in case you have one double. That last is what i myself made to get all of them, i dropped them all myself, but i had to trade some of them, because it is not really uncommon to get three times in a row the same figurine. And also when i am not absolute sure, i think their drop chance is something to do with your Archaeologist training.

One day while browsing the WTS and WTB forums, I saw one guy who was asking for a certain infusion at a high price, and a WTS person offering them at a lower price. Not particularly wealthy but not dirt poor either, I tried to do some commodity trading, bought up the low price infusions from the WTS person and then tried reselling them to the person in wtb offering a high price for the same infusions.

At first it went well, but when I told him what I was doing, he denied my next trade with an emphatic "NO", said that the profit margin was too small, and then gave me a 50k "novice subsidy" as he called it.

I wasn't sure whether to celebrate or cry.

I didn't know of Pinyin, but yeah... that sounds like the sort of thing I may have done if I had the money. :\


Of course, this begs the question. Since supply still comes from the individual players, couldn't you all have simply blacklisted him temporarily, rebuild your own supply of energy drinks, and start selling them en masse at a lower price until he is forced to lower his own prices down to market rate? I mean, that's what my economics textbook says should happen in situations like HV which are not conducive to monopolies but rather to perfect competition like scenarios...
