If you wanna hear something crazy, I still have a Mag Rapier, but I was using a shortsword before LOL. The Rapier was generously given to me by as013. Before that, I was also using a buckler of the nimble that was level 115. I only just got a force shield about 20 levels ago. And I still only have some superior power boots lol.

Genuinely interested in what was the worst item the rest of you guys used. I can't remember who, but someone told me they used to do a heavy 2h style lol. And I swear ages ago I read somebody used to use dual waki's. Or something like that.

I was using 1H Shade for a while and damned was it slow. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) It took me nearly a half year to get a Mag/Ex Power set. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

1H Shade-> How does it feel in terms of survivability compared to heavy? When I first joined HV someone high level said "Does it even work?" Then I just assumed heavy is the way to go and play till now.

It was slow as fuck. I mean really slow. Sompared with the speed of the normal 1H set i used after it was not even half the speed. And it did actually feel like it got a better survivability after switch to normal 1H. I would really not suggest to use it. Either you use a normal 1H set or you play DW Shade.

I used to play Power 2H at Hard up until Lvl280-290 or so. No way to go harder safely. Definitely not efficient.
A few months ago someone (don't remember his name) said he had a method to do it "easily" with FRD, but frankly I've tried it and it's way too dangerous due to the OC management that has way too little room for randomness.

So yeah: power 1H is the way to go for poor people. Plate, Shortsword, Kite for the even poorer ones.

Me? Doing a giveaway? Not right now. It's been a while I haven't felt like doing one of my events/games. And frankly one could already consider I'm being generous every week in my WTB, given how most of what I buy takes dust in my WTS.

afaik FRD 2H needs a proper setup, especially on the speed side. not that i tried it first-hand though...

I used a Superior Ethereal Rapier of Slaughter for years, until I was around level 250 IIRC, when I first got it it was actually a decent weapon though. I also still had a bunch of exquisite power stuff until fairly recently, even now my best armor is still an exquisite power.

Speaking of poorness, I still need 60 Hath to get IA3.

Attention poor players: if you want to make quick and little money out of your Exquisites taking dust, maybe it's worth taking a look at my WTB. I've loosen up the requirements for Exquisite equipment between Lvl250 and Lvl300, mostly for Shade armor and Power armor.

By posting equipment that fits the requirements in the "Wanted" list, you will not only make a bit of cash (more than the Bazaar price), but you will also help another poor player who needs such equipment, gathered in my WTS.

You can probably expect a bit more Exquisite (and cheap) equipments available to fit your needs in my WTS in a few weeks. I hope... Little reminder: if you want more stuff below lvl200 to be displayed in my shop, there needs to be more sellers for those equipments.

Side note: I will also rework some prices in my WTS. I do have noticed that some stuff I acquired long ago is a bit expensive for the current market standards. Standards that tend to go lower and lower...
