I always assumed that 'battles won' meant that they won the battle... Thanks for clearing it up for me. It's such a confusing word... "Won". Like, what does it even mean?

Well it means that it was there when the battle was won aka the player did not complete that round for whatever reason. And when your monster did kill, or actually just had the last hit that did kill a player you get a killing blow. So with just a bit of luck every monster can have the last hit and kill the player.

Definitely make new monsters whenever you get more tokens from now on. I have one monster I've made good in terms of power level, and I put a few tokens into their scavenging/getting me more gifts, but otherwise I spend it all on making new monsters.

There is definitely the allure of making that one, super strong, cool monster, but it's better to have tons of different monsters. I may not get gifts ALL the time, but every so often all of them will give me a bunch of gifts. I'll get bumrushed and get like 20 different items. Sure, a lot of them are mid grade wood and stuff like that, but generally I will get at least one or two rare bindings and other cool stuff. I haven't gone through my inventory recently, but last time I did I had a very large stockpile of rare items from my monsters I could sell for a wack of credits.

I've got about 20 right now, but I'm hoping to get more. I don't even clear the arenas every day either lol. I'm sure if I did/you do, you could get tons of tokens and if you only have one monster right now, you could be making a new one every single day for a long time. Every so often buy some crystal packs to get them to a half decent power level, and boom, you got a bunch of cool monsters!

Also - I'm not sure who, I think it was Decondelite, who mentioned a little bit ago some monsters who won the most battles for him. I think they were Celestials, Sprites, Dragonkin, and one else... And he said that Humanoids are not good, and Giants are so-so. I've recently created two celestials and a sprite and all three of them have won battles even at their low powerlevel, so I'm enjoying that a lot. Anyways, sorry for rambling. Hope this helps.

Even if they are all PL 25, it's worth it.
200 PL1 monsters don't even eat 100k per month worth of food.
You get waaaay more than 100k/month with even the worst gifts ever lol

Let's assume 1 LGL every 3 days for every monster.
That's 2000 LGL/month, 2000 * 100 credits (bot exchange) = 200.000 credits

I cant believe people still ask this question. I have never even once did buy pills. And only once in a time i didnt play myself for half a year 1k edibles. And that is it. Atm i still have lets see 10088 Chow 9265 Edibles 18883 Cuisine 539 Happy Pills. And i remember i did sell some pills and some food allready this year. And also i do sent sometimes some food and pills for free to new players. And if i really would need to buy food or pills. I just had to sell one of my at weekly phazon and i could buy enough for the rest of the year. So why have people problem with keeping their monsterlab going. I have read about that often enough from people who have around 10 monster or even less. I have to feed atm 112 of them. And their gifts make allready a third of my monthly income . So really. Just create more monster and i promise the phazon will come to you too, it may take a while, but in the end they will sure as sure. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I just need to spend a few minutes clearing a few arenas to get enough credits to buy a shitload of monster food. And if you do a lot of arenas, you'll get quite a lot of food.

I don't use happy pills at all, just crystals from time to time. It's very cost-effective at lower levels, in fact, like I mentioned above you're likely to get enough crystals via the arenas anyways, so you may not even need to buy anything. And even if you do, it's no big deal. Getting a few thousand credits from a 23, 24k crystal pack isn't too bad when your monsters will bring you items from time to time you can sell for 10k, 50k, 100k, and so on.

Anyways, like Juggernaut Santa and Uncle Stu said, it's totally justified/worth it. Don't take my word for it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

As I don't wanna see players who are lower LV than me, or who play less get worthy drops, like those charged phases, good willow/oak staff, and slaughters, as I haven't dropped one of those even once yet......
BTW, I need 15mins to complete PFD DwD, but I haven't spent even one phazon on my clothes yet.

I never use happy pills either. I consider that using happy pills is a complete waste, since you'd upgrade the monster sooner or later anyway. Why using a pill to restore morale and then upgrade the monster later on, when you can just restore the morale by upgrading it?

Higher PL means much much slower morale drain, so the cost isn't that higher with respect to time compared to low PL ones. If one sells crystal packs, happy pills would ppl be better. Two pills is obviously cheaper than 10000+crystals

Hey, 25 monster at your level is not bad. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) And at least you dont have to pay 100+ token for another slot. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) That is also the reason why i would suggest if you really want a lot of monsters, buy tokenizer I. it is just so worth it. It may take a while, it did me too back than, but it is so worth it.

I think in my whole HV life my monster brought me two phazon EVER. I will consider a second monster at some point. Just not at the moment.

I really hope you are not suprised by that. And the second slot of monsterlab does cost how much? Two or three chaos token? I will never understand this.
