yep, i too keep them where they are. but usually i prefer to buy internal ones and an external aluminium case. even if you have to use a screwdriver, it's more versatile of a solution than what it may seem.

back then i also thought about a plug-and-play one like this:

but i couldn't find one with USB3, integrated card reader and two slots so i didn't think too much about it.
