Err, I don't see a poor actually need a ED except selling it.
GF is not efficient without perks, poors don't have many equipment (and shards) to IW.
Why not give credit directly?

People only spend on the best of the best (soul tax doesn't help here either), so they'd have to give up a lot of cs. A few hundred thousand at the absolute minimum so they can get items from the low level auction.

Hey, after they did take the ED, it is only up to them what they do with them. I dont tell them what they should do with the stuff they own. And why give ED instead of credits? Because i had some ED to spare. And it is quite easy for everyone to make them to money, or PA's if they want. Also they where free, and beggars can't be choosers. Now Piyin has a WTT, where you send him Averages or lower equip (only rares thou', i.e. shade, power or force) and he gives some LGM, LGL, MGM or MGL in exchange. I wonder what he does with all those Crude, Fair & Avg ? It's unlikely he can sell them for many credits, so what is he thinking ?
