In my opinion, IA3 is still a good/useful investment.

You use the first slot for Spirit Shield, second for Spark of Life, and the third for [ Haste if you have shit armor/shield, Protection otherwise ].

Nope, why should i use a slot for SoL a spell i never did use. TBH i dont even what happens when it triggers and sure as sure i dont use haste. As 1H i want a speed bonus of 0%. Using a spell that gives me a speed bonus of iirc 25% just by itself, dont benefit me in this goal. So all i need and use i SS and Protec. That is all. I was still using some Exq at 300 and some Mag as 400. So i dont need to imagine, i can still remember how it was, and still, when i said i have never ever used SoL, i really mean it. I never even used SoL once. So even as 200, or 300 or 360. Never. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Edit: And just to show you how recenct this memorys are, that i own a full Leg set the first time ever is not even 6 months ago.

Given many mechanics have been explicitly stated to be credit sinks, having a negative income shouldn't be unusual. The real problem is it's pointless to spend money unless you already have top notch gear to spend it on, which itself costs tons not only because of its notchiness, but because there's zero reason to trade anything that's NOT top notch. The soul tax faggotry was the final nail in it all.

I'm kinda curious what people think is "objectively" poor around here. If you don't have to work, you're not poor. But WTB is practically a ghost town. No one's buying monster presents like they used to, and salvaging takes care of upkeep-style costs "for free." Potions are free too if you lower the difficulty. So "not having to work" isn't much of a bar.
That's all before the yearly hath handouts.

All that's left to look at are the multi-million chip auctions which, even if the maybe-poors had the money for, they'd still have to level a lot and pay soul tax to even use it. I use haste and spark, and can't figure out why I'd want to autocast anything else (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) If I have no health and no mana I'm practically dead already, so spark is fine, but I definitely don't want spirit shield turning itself off on me. The other slots are a waste when scrolls are involved. Most of the time, spark is replaced with a channeled spark to save mana anyway.
