i wouldn't have paid 6M for it, but i'm a dirty cheapskate. also, STR and DEX are a bit weak but seems a solid shield to me.

I'm not going to dump 6m for any shield at all any time soon, not even for a SDE Peerless Force Shield.

End game is when you block is P or max 0.1% (at most) less at max level and 1h prof.

91% is 0.3% less, not endgame for sure.

If you think "0.3% is very small!"
1) it is not, when avoidance is high a small number added does a lot
2) if 0.3% is small then just go for 0.5 or 1...still small and you spend 10-50 times less

Having a non P but somewhat close to P shield at low level makes no sense.
Level scaling makes stats low and rolls almost insignificant.
And it's expensive as fuck. Just wait before tossing money.

It's the same as the power armor debate over again.
Lv 300...should I spend 1-3M for close to perfect power of protection? Nope, get some high roll wardings and save for slaughter.

Lv 310 mage...should I spend 3-5 times more to get endgame gear now? Nope, get some cheap phase (inb4 "starting mage" Cit. DJNoni) and wait to bid on lv 500 good phase.

Judging from hv chart's code, it uses a very simplified way to reverse-calculate base values - that is, the simple ln formula. Which slightly overestimates coefficients, thus slightly underestimates base values. This error raises with forge level. And with level scaling factor as well, if we want.

Equip comparison (and all comparison-based scripts like hv toolbox) uses a different algorithm, which should provide more accurate results.


Tl;dr: you're basically comparing pears with apples. Your shield of course has 91%, while juggy santa's is slightly higher than that.
Btw, this error is not that big and should be fixed in one of the next versions of toolbox, so not even the need to report it.


[Edit]: while we're at it, it wouldn't be a bad idea to drop this kind of annoying e-peenis contests.
