QUOTE(issary @ Nov 4 2017, 12:53) Low level match name melee legendary are rare and expensive.
What do you mean matching name? I thought matching name are term reserved for mage staffs. Maybe you were thinking popular suffix? They're Power of Protection, actually, a good alternative to of Slaughter. Now, if slaughter, maybe I can spend more. Much much more. -- edit Seems like all the pieces I want this week have gone over what I think its fair value. Oh, well, there's still next week. I hope a middling staff I can use will turn up by then. Anyway, will we see a good bid war over Super's auctions tonight? I'm a bit pessimistic since they're already overbid. It's called "low level". It's a trend started some months ago and encouraged by everyone except me. When this trend wasn't existing, you could find better shields with the same level for 50k, and no one would even look at them (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) But don't worry, it's the right thing to do, wasting money just so you won't have enough of it when you'll need to buy SERIOUS equipment not much later (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

I consider myself conservative when people ask if they've overpaid. Rarely will I say yes. In this instance, huge overpay. Unfortunately, it is better not to compete with the rich or crazy players, unless you are just trying to bid them up to make them less rich. :P

I don't know how I can even play this game when just reaching 100,000 credits makes me feel like I finally gathered a lot of money...

Assuming normal buyer (there are some abnormal ones) the magnificent shield won't get a million but considering the level it's very valuable and should get a sizeable fraction of a million, 300k+ maybe? Would have to study its stats better.

Also a she, not that it matters much online. I'm here for the credits and the dfc yuri. So, this "editing" bounty I see. What does that entail? Art-editing or text editing? If it is the latter, it's something I may have to look into doing. I can turn something badly translated into something that native English speakers would read. But if it is the former and basically just a bunch of busy-work adjusting how things look, then i'm not interested. This post has been edited by Cryosite: Nov 5 2017, 10:41

QUOTE(Cryosite) I'm here for the credits Hmm did I read that wrong? My interpretation of those words is that you play this game (fight monsters) in order to accumulate credits which are to be used elsewhere somehow. I thought it was the other way around: people accumulated credits from the outside (through bounty, h@h, etc) and the purpose of them is to play this game stronger and kill more monsters. Credits have some other usage?

Trading them for GP, then using GP to download galleries. QUOTE(Cryosite @ Nov 5 2017, 11:41) So, this "editing" bounty I see. What does that entail? Art-editing or text editing?
Basically cleaning the raw with Photoshop, redrawing where needed, then typesetting the translated script.

Let's be honest, buying a gallery download in GP is very small in equivalent of credits, and you can use the torrent to get it entirely for free. That is, I'm not even counting the free download from the H@H archiver quota for those who run H@H.

Not true. Editing mainly requires good Photoshop and English skills, not Japanese. An editing bounty assumes that you're working with an already completed and correct script, so you don't necessarily have to know Japanese to do it. Sure, it helps if you know some basic moonrunes so that you could more easily match the text with the bubbles, but normally no one expects you to proofread the entire text by comparing it to the original or anything like that. Well, yeah. He was just asking what credits are used for and I answered.

Friggo has the right answer. It's a porn site. The game is amusing, but not that amusing. Killing stronger monsters is only really for an increase in credit income. After awhile it is less about killing stronger and killing the top faster. In order to spend less time performing your daily quote of monster killing, etc. Been there, done that in countless games. I have some plans on how I feel like playing this game, and some of those plans overlap that style. But I have zero interest in competing with the "top-end" players. But I do see that some people are willing to do bounties for credits. I'd like to be able to pay bounties some day. Get people to translate things I want translated, uncensor things I want uncensored, that sort of thing. QUOTE(friggo @ Nov 5 2017, 02:05) Trading them for GP, then using GP to download galleries. So "art" editing, more or less. Outside of my skillset and interests. Oh well. I don't suppose there is a typical "bounty" for the kind of editing I do? Grammar, spelling, word choice, that sort of thing? QUOTE(ALL_MIGHT @ Nov 5 2017, 02:32) But for that one has to know Japanese, So not everyone can do that.
No it doesn't. Typesetting involves making the words fit nice and look nice on the page. Translation has already taken place if you're at this step. Also, not all translation is done from Japanese. On this site most of it is, probably. But there are other source languages here too. English to Spanish is also reasonably popular.
