QUOTE(End Of All Hope @ Oct 9 2017, 08:05) And for those who are too old to remember and too lazy to look it up, would that be how many? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

QUOTE(End Of All Hope @ Oct 9 2017, 08:53) Well, it should be cheaper than going above lv 5 adb forge so it's a better investment for sure (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Not sure when DD II is worth it though (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) imo, DD1 is a good purchase: DD1: 2000 Hath ~ 8.1M for +10% attack = 810k/1%, with boost = +10% -> 0.81M/1% then, cost per unit raises and ROI lowers: even if you don't take into account the cost of the previous levels (because already useful on their own and whatnot), you have: DD2: 4000 Hath ~ 16.2M for +15% attack = 1.08M/1%, with boost = +5% -> 3.24M/1% DD3: 6000 Hath ~ 24.3M for +20% attack = 1.22M/1%, with boost = +5% -> 4.86M/1% and so on.

A little less than 5%. Unfortunately.
Later I'll make some calc to see where the breaking point is.
For now I'm at the 110k/10 ADB so 110k/0.1% = 1.1M/1% point.

Honestly, I don't understand why everyone makes such a fuss about rapiers !
I've tried it sometime, but I still prefer a nice axe, or even a good shortsword.
In all levels up to my current 169, rapiers simply weren't efficient enough no matter the rolls, never have AD comparable to axe/shortsword. The pierced procs is not good enough to compensate, imho.

They do because in the end, the part of the game where rapier are superior is bigger, than the part they dont matter. I mean you didnt even reach the part of the game when the monsters start to get serious, so i am not sure what you expect.

It's not obvious and it's not emphasized anywhere. Not to mention that even at my level shorrtswords can still compete decently.

I switched to rapier when I was lv 250. Mag Shortsword or Sup Rapier? The mag sword didn't even stand a chance (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) I had a very good offhand at the time though. My switch to 1h was 47 levels later and my exq rapier was rocking (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I just cant stand Shortswords with that, oh we made some complete irrelevant bleeding Damage. But because this is nothing that fits into decondelite's view upon the world, it doesnt matter and is not real. Yawn, i am borred again allready. Well lets talk about something significant, like i put fried onions and some croûtons into my potato puree. Yum-yum! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
