Sort of. The higher the chance to get an equipment drop at all, the higher the chance to get higher equipment tier.

I've had no money my whole life, pumping it all into training and monsters. I never had more than 400,000 credits which I just used to buy crystals to reawaken my 3 month dead monsters, dropping me to nothing.

Yeah, not the best idea. My advice is, train just up to a level you can still easy afford the money for. And also create more monster. Much more.

I can beat all Arenas and Ring of Blood comfortably on PFUDOR, but it takes me a long time as I only click once per second (this is the max on Firefox).

You click? That is something you really shouldnt, use Monsterbation and just hover your mouse over them, or if you dont want that, at least use the numblock.

I guess that is the way of the game to tell you, that you are not really ready yet for PFUDOR. Reduce the difficulty, that way you should be abler to make more arenas per day and in the end increase your income, even with a lower difficulty.

My stamina rarely goes below 99. I know Chrome is much faster so I may install that sometime.

Hm, maybe i miss here something. But i highly doubt it when you low speed comes from your internet, that any browser will change much about this problem. TBH, i did lost count how many times some people told other people to use that browser or use this browser, but the problem was that they had just mobile 2G Internet.

Train your Quartermaster more and more , that way you will have more chances to get equipment drop .

Clicking = losing.

As uncle said: get yourself some real stuff to play, such as scripts. That will make you speed up dramatically, improve your comfort and avoid you getting a tendonitis or you being defeated because you clicked like a manic girl.

Scripts+equipment+knowledge+skill, that's the way to get better and play higher difficulties.

Actually browsers do matter. I had 1.7 t/s with Firefox and 3.0 t/s with Opera. A new installation of FF still gives me 2.2 at most.

I don't know what this clothes is but it doesn't matter, the drought is over after 70 levels! I will use the strategy of End of all Hope and try to play more RE. And I will train Quartermaster right now as much as possible. Scavenger should help to get more equipment in Arena but not in RE, where every monster has drop anyway.

All my good Legendary/Magnificent armor has been Amber haha. My armor is all Amber and Jade. I have an Amber Force Shield that fell on the ground with 40% block so it's my own fault for not using it. I like to get stomped by Mikuru Asahina it feels good.

My ISP is my uni (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I have no complain about the 300 Mbps down/up speed though.

At such low bandwidth (7kb/s) Bandwidth becomes most important.

you cannot. for the simple reason that even if your ISP is godlike but the connection to your house is shit, you're doomed. it's called "last mile problems" or something like that. there are simply too many variables involved.

I noticed End of Hope's legendary drop log was impressively frequent even at my level, and all from RE, so I've been trying that too, but no luck yet.

I've been playing mostly on PFUDOR since I was level 160. On the day 0.85 patch came the game suddenly got easy for beginners, and legendaries rained out of the sky for me. The only ones I've ever gotten. I'm using a legendary shield with 25% block. Not stat roll, actual block percentage, I know it sucks. :3

Thanks but I already have a Magnificent Amber Force Shield from the ground. I am waiting to get higher level before I use it because mana/interference is better at higher levels. I also bid 50k today on a shield at auction. I like unpopular shields so hopefully I can win at that price, as that's all the money I will have (training Quartermaster to 6).

I roughly know how to remove the effect of upgrades, just not exactly. For forge level 5 the wiki says to divide by 1.08 (or 1.11 for attack stats). I calculate base stats by hand exactly as the formula is much simpler, although mouse hovering also works. Physical Damage Lv.5 and Butcher Lv.3 on my rapier stack higher than expected though (1.12 increase from forge).

The Legendary Amber Phase Robe that I found yesterday has excellent stats so it might actually be worth something. If history repeats itself a Legendary Staff for me to use will fall from the sky next. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Nothing can be done about ping/lag as it is based on physical distance in real life. Information cannot travel faster than the speed of light. Ironically, fiber optic which comprises most of the internet's backbone has the slowest signal and worst ping, traveling at 2/3 the speed of light. Thus when the internet "upgraded" its bandwidth over the last couple decades we actually worsened our pings. With traditional copper wires the information travels 15% faster. With wireless the information travels at the full speed of light, but the entire internet cannot be wireless.

It is claimed that experimental fiber optics can transmit data at the full speed of light, but implementing it is probably 50 years off.

For last-mile problems, my ping to my ISP using cable modem 400mbps is 0 ms, and my ping to my ISP using fiber optic (to the house) capped at 100 mbps is 1 ms. The fiber optic is much slower, but it doesn't matter in the big scheme of things.
