So, existing customers don't qualify for the deals new customers get?

I'd think it would be like asking to be switched to another plan and they will just change your speed and bill accordingly.

maybe going at them a bit angry and claiming to changing company... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) but usually not, such deals are blatantly made to make you change operator. most of them have such convenience only for the first one or two years. after that you'll pay more, but still less than me. being a loyal client for a bunch of time doesn't matter too much for a phone company. you may exploit it by jumping from one to another every a fixed amount of months, but ugh...

btw, i also heard stories of people asking for such an upgrade, and some of them basically found double the (nominal) bandwidth and half of the stability. i'm fine with such line (even with the limited amount of downtimes), i'd only like... hell, not to pay ~500€/yr (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Even 4k video is probably lower than 150 mbit/sec, right?

4k video doesn't need even 1.5mbit/sec. Videos eat a lot of ping, not that much bandwidth.
The data needed for a second of video is very limited.
Talking about youtube of course, that has a very good compression algorithm
Maybe a crappy site has 50 gb files for 10 minutes and so you'd need 100mbps (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Oh hell no. Three quarters of the offers are: for new people only, or old people but only the ones that received a sms/call for it. Even mobile offers. If they call me on a phone, I can't request the offer on another number, always mine of course. Happened some time ago. They gave my dad a very good phone offer on a junk number, he asked if he could apply it on his main one, since they were both registered to him, and both with the same provider, he got told "no" (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

i guess if you run up against any rounds with 6/less you should be fine. but once you see 7+ you'll probably have to do quite a bit of healing

Only if you go for high end charged, aka EDB >50%, with diminishing returns.

Why not, imperil is still much better turn efficiency unless you have a fully forged radiant set + 1.0 prof factor or close to. Without imperil with my 1.7 prof factor set I average 1.3x turns however my t/s is like 30% faster making it very comparable in terms of dps (probably cause I'm not running willow and redwood absolutely sucks at grindfests)

Well, since I use an elementalist robe, I think I can get near 1.0 prof factor.
I'm at 0.716 with my robe forged at lv.5 and my staff lv.15.

Imperil free elemental mage?

Ever since Nec bought this up, I'm kind of intrigued. I wonder if it's viable.

in order to kill hellfest, let alone pfudorfest, at a decent speed without imperil you'll need a ton of forging. guess you can always try =)

There's like this weird slump after you get started and everything is interesting and trying to build a character and then you hit a grindy spot and don't really have any direction or what to do beyond "Guess i'll just hit grindfest and gain a level?"

what's interesting about the game varies person to person. as for the game mechanics, gear, abilities, potentialities. you've only seen the surface. most ppl make hitting lvl 300 one of their initial goals

I was playing fire no-imperil on low diff, thats fine. On high diff its a bit different, because it usually means high budget. Comparing to holy:

1. Much faster casting. Its even better than whole charged set.
2. Significantly lower damage, because both stats/spell damage and mitg.

So at the end its like same situation in fighting, but with higher amount of turns. Thats why with huge budget i think better to play holy.

It would be nice if there was an 'auto fight' selection for Arenas you've already defeated. You can set arenas to auto-fight daily (at the highest completed difficulty) instead of spending literal hours every day doing them over and over again. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I mean, even at the best you'll only get like 50k gold or so from doing them all (up to level 150) every day, and spending several hours or longer per day simply for that low amount of money is rather boring (and not everyone has hours they can devote to Arenas). I need to buy some low-quality cloth and wood for my weapon and armor upgrades, but I can afford maybe 10 per day. Not enough for even 2 upgrades.

Hell, they can even make it only happen the day you log on/ day after you log on. That way people can't be offline and rack up millions of credits. If you log in Tuesday and set the auto fight, it'll auto fight on Tues/Wed. But if you don't log in on Wed, it auto sets off so it doesn't fight on Wed/Thu until you log on and set it again.

50k per day won't really mean much to those that get 1M/day + but for those that don't have 500 galleries, it could allow us to afford to upgrade our weapons and shit to fight higher difficulty arenas and such.
