Wow does a high grade Waki of Swiftness really suck that bad for Niten? My assumption was that Niten revolves around building OC to Skyward and thus quicker attacks would be essential as you ultimately don't have much of a defense mechanism. I suppose (lacking an anything of Switfness) I overlooked that attack speed isn't something that can be improved by forging? Obviously a huge limiting factor. I guess I also overlooked that attack speed doesn't grow with level and thus falls off overtime?
Am I on the right track about why I'm wrong at least? Or is there another aspect I'm overlooking about the nature of attack speed?
Uh, anyway, I'm fairly sure I have kinda crap gear, but when I Rend > Shatter with my barely forged pre-v.82 Mag Mace, it nearly erases the affected PFUDOR mobs. I'd have to assume that Niten would vastly outpace my damage, so it's a bit disappointing to hear that a Skyward from what looks like significantly better comparable gear to mine doesn't erase PFUDOR mobs.
I tried playing Niten for a bit when I returned to playing the game, but quickly realized that I simply didn't the the armor quality to make it possible. My assumption though was that the damage output from Niten would be significantly better than from 2H Mace and I'd still assume against School Girls it is but I'm currently left with the impression that against non-Grindfest or perhaps IW LV80+ mobs, it's not significantly different?
That can't be correct though, can it? Niten has to massively out DPS 2H Mace right?

It's high cost what makes it awkward in the long run. At best it's 110 oc for killing 5 monsters in 5 turns. Compared to other skills, 85 oc instant 5 kills for frenzied blow or 50 oc for... something else. Though i dare to say it was the best before skill unbinding patch.
I hereby call it 'Awkward Squidward Sword with Ugly-Ass Longsword for the Icon'.

QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Jul 20 2019, 03:18) Hm, dont you think you would profite more from a higher Dex? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Going with an exp ratio different than 2:1 STR:DEX is going to lose me ADB. About lowering other stats in favor of STR/DEX... after making the math well, the numbers wouldn't change much but I would lose a lot of HP and mitigations. My current spread would end in 589 STR 570 DEX 588 END, fulling damage would result in 603 STR 583 DEX 463 END. Basically 20 ADB for -125 END (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) This post has been edited by Juggernaut Santa: Jul 20 2019, 17:23

What for? Because i did loose 4% crit damage with two peerl pieces? The additional damage, crit chance and parry does more as just balance that out. So overall i have with those non savage pieces much more damage output.

QUOTE(mangafans1 @ Jul 23 2019, 06:09) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) uncle's the parry chance higher than the block chance, how could it be that high (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Yeah, that did suprise me as well when it finally happend. That is thanks to the forging of Dex on my armor set, with fully forged block and parry on weapon and shield, block is higher, but Dex doesnt just give you additional damage, accuracy and crit chance, but also additional parry. QUOTE(Juggernaut Santa @ Aug 6 2019, 02:10) Still didn't change shoes as IW is damned lately (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Still no Juggernaut in the boots. Not that I've been IWing that much lately. Especially now that I'm out of shards. Who knows when I'll find the will of posting in WTB, and then how much time will pass before I reforge and go again (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

(IMG:[ i.imgur.com] https://i.imgur.com/yQkd1iZ.png) Peerless Fiery Rapier of Nimble Peerless Mithril Buckler of the Barrier Peerless Shade Armor with Shadowdancer, Fleet, Negation and Arcanist mixed. It's a odd, peculiar and most likely not-the-most-optimal combo but I like it. I use Imperil and featherweight on weapon/shield most of the time.

64.2 evade 66.4 block 67.7 parry 77.2 resist. Hm, did you ever tried a PFest with that set? How hard is it actually to keep the over charge up?
