Dark is "cheaper" but not my much. They're still the number one and two most popular types. You'll still have to buy tons of perks. Wanting to drop imperil for a style that doesn't give a mit bonus doesn't make much sense, ya know (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
Non-imperil only outperforms imperil if you can finish the round in less turns than it takes to cast imperil 3 or 4 times, assuming you don't do anything else but attack. It's more of a luxury. It takes MASSIVELY better gear to even think about doing it with holy/dark, since h/d has the same 7.5x damage mod as ele with max points, and the best monsters have all of their mitigations maxed out, so you have to make up for the greater casting penalty, mana cost, and incoming damage compared to ele.

You shouldn't be losing much t/s if you're using shift to hover-cast debuffs and keeping your hands over the pot keys. I can do hell no-imperil at 2.7t/s and pfudor sleep-confuse-weaken-imperil-absorb-cure-fullcure-alldraughts-allpots at... 2.6t/s (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) 2.5 on a bad day. I can still get 2.7 on the shorter arenas. Better defense, shortcuts, and playing on alt.hentaiverse.org on a fresh browser profile in safe mode will save a lot more time than just dropping imperil can..

So uh, what i do is basically just suffer through the first round then just shout FUS RO DAH at the start of each round and just slash In Memory Of Dark Mage ∞ to bits with my FOLDED JAPANESE SWORDS while it's dragonstunlocked.

By doing that, i can do items worlds without issue, and i think, maybe, i can finish grind fest ( only have gone to round 300 the one time i tried, had to get out because i was missing too much random encounters also i need to work and not have fun ).

My question being, is that standard ? Can you play non-heavy/shield melee WITHOUT FUS RO DAH ?
( Not talking about arenas or difficulties lower than PFUDOR, as those can be done relatively easily even without FUS RO DAH. FUS RO DAH. FUS RO DAH. )


Oh yeah, also the Orbital Friendship Cannon is sick for struggle snuggling the schoollolis.
Can't really use it outside the arenas though... I need the overcharge to dragonstunlock.

Arenas? Or are you doing fest? Dovahkiin is for light armor user (then it should be 2h/dw/niten). Non heavy? Mage will use "godslayer" title instead of getting frd...

I guess the relevant thing is grindfest.
After all, past a point you don't need to do items world i would guess, while you'll always need crystals.
And grindfest is the most difficult mode, once you're deep enough, right ?

Right. Although last 10 rounds of IW is just as hard.

Melee can also just use a very good shield with high forge if block. Then you don't need FDR shout all the time, and just block stun and rapier parry (or shorts word or axe) and kill all while hiding behind your shield

Try shielding.
Standard play = hover up-down & done.

Can tie the mouse to you-know-what and get two things done at the same time.

Can be done with 3 chopsticks, 1 keychain, 1 suction cup, & 1 electric fan.

Never tried it, i'm clean. Even if i did, i'm still clean.

I might change to Shadowdancer set once i gather up enough credits to get one but honestly?

Why not a mage build? A fully forged 1H set is cool
